Springfield House Care Home is located in the Codsall area of rural Staffordshire and offers residential, nursing and palliative care.

The home is close to shops, amenities and public transport and convenient for the M54 and M6 motorway links.

This care home and accommodation is provided in single occupancy rooms, most of which have private toilet facilities. The home has a very welcoming and homely atmosphere and has a comfortable lounge with television.

Springfield House features quiet sitting rooms alongside the lounge for television and activities.

A separate dining room, where residents can enjoy the company of others at mealtimes is also available. Traditional home cooked meals using fresh produce are served with daily choices being available and special diets can be catered for.

Regular visits are made to the home by an experienced hair stylist. Complementary therapies can also be arranged, while the home provides a varied programme of activities.

Family and friends are welcome to visit at any time. Residents lead the activity programme, which is devised after discussion and completion of life history and is updated regularly to reflect residents' current wishes.

I have found Springfield House helpful in every way. The care they give my husband is excellent. He is kept clean and comfortable, and the staff are helpful and chat to him. He has improved since being in their care.

Springfield House delivers a very high standard of care to residents. Staff treat residents with great respect and dignity - understanding that this is their home and making their lives as comfortable as possible. All staff have a good relationship with residents and visitors; they also keep next of
kin well informed of any health issues etc. I have already recommended Springfield House, who were able to accommodate them.

My mother has previously been at Springfield for respite, so we'd already experience the excellent standards of care. In the last few months, my mom's needs changed to permanent care, and we had no hesitation in seeking a room at Springfield. The staff and management are very attentive, caring and considerate.
Nothing is too much trouble. The facility is also set in lovely grounds. My mom is very settled, and I know 100% that she is being exceptionally cared for. I would have no hesitation in recommending Springfield for loved ones.

The home itself has some positives but a lot of areas to improve on. My friend has always been happy here, but recently standards have slipped. I am always welcomed by the staff with a friendly ‘hello’ but am often told how understaffed they are. I’ve noticed a lot of the staff not wearing masks anymore.
The home always looks very clean and smells fresh. Activities for the residents has dipped over the last 12-months and would love to see them more involved again. The rooms are well decorated and an okay size for what’s needed.

Overall not bad. Mom has been in eight weeks now and not settled, but hopefully will soon. Visiting has been good during the pandemic. Care staff seem caring but always seem overworked. Activities could be better, not that much variety it appears at the moment. The food on offer is good. The look of
the home seems quite tired.

My mother joined Springfield House approx 23rd December 2016. As with most people, the reason for the home; she was not capable to look after herself due to various reasons (health). The way she was treated was excellent all the way through the years she was there and was with the carers and management
to the end. The staff in the home were brilliant with their care of the people in their care and were supported by the home managers to make sure all was well and looked after. My wife and I could not find fault with all at Springfield House care home.

I cannot praise the staff at Springfield House enough for their outstanding care, commitment and kindness towards my aunt. Whilst we have been unable to see her as regularly due to Covid, she has been superbly looked after with a wide variety of activities arranged to stimulate her and the other residents.
She is always well presented and clean, and her room is always spotless as are the lounges we use when we visit her. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to others - it is so caring and friendly.

My mom initially came to Springfield House for respite after a lengthy stint in Hospital. Mom came back to Springfield House for a second time a few months later, again for respite. She asked to come back to Springfield House herself as she was very happy there and had a great rapport with the staff.
Everyone from the management downwards was so kind in every way to mom and me. My mom subsequently passed away at Springfield House, and they dealt with everything with dignity. And for that, I cannot thank them enough. My Uncle is now a resident at Springfield House on my recommendation and has settled very well. So my link to Springfield House continues.

My sister has been at Springfield now for over a year, set in beautiful gardens.
We can't thank the staff and events team enough for all they do from flower arranging and crafts to singers and alpacas visiting. Throughout lockdown, we have been updated with photos and phone calls, and she seems to
be very happy with where she is.

Springfield House Care Home have been amazing with my nan. The activities she does daily are above and beyond and the care towards my nan is 100%. I feel at ease that she is being cared for and dressed and washed daily and always smells clean.

I can’t speak highly enough of this wonderful care home. My brother has been a resident for almost two years and he loves living here, he wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
It is his birthday today and the whole team made such a fuss of him, despite being in lockdown, activities for the day were all
planned around his love for Wolves football club - he was full of smiles and happiness. The manager and activities coordinator couldn’t be more helpful and they ensure the residents have many wonderful activities planned for them. All of the staff are friendly and caring, I know my brother is in safe hands.

My Brother has been living at Springfield for the past two years now. I cannot compliment this home enough, everything they’ve done for my brother is beyond what me and my family could have imagined when looking for a Care Home. My brother is in an environment where he is well cared for night and day.
The activities team are incredible and do so much on a daily basis, even though the Home has been in lockdown; I’ve never felt closer to my brother. We’ve been taking part in virtual quizzes monthly through the home's Facebook page which has kept all the family having fun. Finally a massive thank you to all the carers and nurses who have kept my brother safe through the pandemic. Would recommend to all.

On 23rd March 2020, I had to leave mum at the door of Springfield House due to her health deteriorating. I was unable to go in with her due to COVID 19 restrictions, which I was so glad to hear were already in place. Mum was reluctant to be left but was greeted by a young lady who had the biggest welcoming
smile I have ever seen and said she had been waiting for mum to arrive. Mum was soon out of the car and happy to leave me. I cannot thank the staff enough for the exceptional care and attention given to mum. Her health has improved so much thanks to the devotion of the staff. The staff are never too busy to give me an update over the phone to reassure my concerns, not that I need to be worried. Mum has told me how lovely the staff are and that the food is really good. She feels as if she is being spoilt every day and taking life there as a lovely holiday.
Everyone, here really deserves a huge thank you and I would not hesitate for a moment to highly recommend Springfield House.

It has been a very sad time. I visited regularly with friends son to enable him to get there more often. The staff were very caring and respectful. We were kept informed of all aspects of her care/condition. As a retired nurse, I have experience of such situations and can honestly say the standards
of care and liaison with family was excellent. End of life care was 100%.

In my spare time I Crochet, regularly making items for our Homes Christmas/Easter fayres etc. I also go to college where I am learning sign language, and love to practice by signing songs!
