Since the first day of visiting to see if there was room for my mother, I have found the carers and managers very supportive to mother and myself.

All the staff at Springfield are committed to patient care.
They always treat mum with respect and dignity.
Mum has recently become more immobile and the team have been extremely supportive to myself and mum in her recovery.
Nothing is too much trouble.

It is lovely to be a part of the Springfield family.

This care home is very welcoming and very pleasant at all times. My father has improved generally and is very happy with the care he has received so far. The food is good which suits his palate. The carers are all very attentive and smile together, laughing with my father.

The management all seem very efficient, particularly the ones that have dealt with us, and this has been consistent throughout.

Referring back to the carers, they all seem very dedicated to their role, and I have spoken to most of them.

I arrived to visit a relative of mine and when I arrived, my relative was laid flat on the bed and was suffering from a chest infection. I had to go and fetch a staff member to provide assistance to my family member. I or any of my other family members should not have to see any of our own suffer like that. My relative has been in the above-named care home for about 8-9 months and I am disgusted that it has taken this long for the care home to start to understand and provide the correct treatment for the medical condition PSS (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy). Improvement is needed for the benefit of the patient and family.

Thank you for taking the time to review our care home, we always appreciate the feed back. I am sorry that you have had a negative experience in one of our homes, the home manager has been made aware of the issues raised, and is continually looking into ways to improve the care provided. As always, we have an open door policy and would be pleased to speak with you at any time.

Every day is made as special as it can be but even more especially when it's a birthday or anniversary when the entertainment lady makes a special effort with decorations, cake and celebrations and all the staff join in. Often they will decorate the conservatory giving the family a little extra space.

Also, they make all celebrations like Easter, St Patrick's day, Wimbledon, assist etc very special with, lovely decorations. The entertainment lady also makes lovely banners, cards and special touches. Also, the dining room is always decorated beautifully with lovely flowers as is the whole home.

We were so fortunate to find Springfield House for my uncle, the place itself is set in beautiful grounds and the rooms are lovely.
But it's the staff that truly make the place home, I cannot fault them, I have worked in social care for over 20 years and have never seen such well trained engaged, caring staff.
Being caring is not something you can teach people, but I have been on so many visits over the last 10 months and the staff are always ready to help and are not only professional and caring towards the residents, but also to the family and friends that visit, nothing is ever too much trouble no matter what time of day you visit.
We can't thank the staff enough for their care and compassion, I would not hesitate to highly recommend this home, we only ever see the failing homes and horror stories in the media, this home should be used as an example of how people should be treated.

Thank heavens we found you and a heartfelt "Thank you" to all the staff that cared for my Uncle.

Dad was very reluctant to go into care so we had to find somewhere special, Springfield House is that place, homely, comfortable, efficient and very professional but you still worry about the staff, however, they exceeded expectation on every level. Not only in the care they provide but the caring all the staff showed dad every day. Nothing, nothing was too much trouble, in fact, every request was greeted with pleasure. I cannot thank the staff and the home enough for making dad's last weeks a dignified and pleasurable experience. Extremely highly recommended.
