What really makes this place stand out is the staff. They are consistently kind, patient, and genuinely caring in their approach. It's obvious they take the time to build meaningful relationships with residents, rather than just carrying out duties. Their approach to interaction is excellent - always respectful, warm, and encouraging.
The team goes above and beyond to support both the physical and emotional well-being of residents. Seeing my father respond so well to the environment and the people around him has been incredibly reassuring.
I'm very grateful for everything they do and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Woodford House to anyone looking for high-quality, compassionate care

Overall, I have found the care home very friendly and nothing too much trouble. I think when visiting a resident with one-to-one care, some privacy should be given. As the carer is always present, and as a visitor, I find this sometimes difficult.

Tina became Home Manager at Woodford House in December 2021.
Previously working as a Care Manager from 2018, Tina had excelled in her role and felt she was ready for the next step in her career, supported by the organisation’s Senior Management Team.
Tina has an excellent understanding of the demands and expectations required within the role, regularly going above and beyond to ensure the home is managed efficiently, whilst remaining approachable and personable.
Liaising with external organisations and relatives on a daily basis, Tina also manages the day-to-day functioning of the home, ensuring she has an active presence in and around the home.
She recently completed a Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care, and looks forward to the possibility of commencing Level 5 Leadership & Management training.

Lisa was officially appointed as Care Manager in June 2024, following her thriving performance in the Acting Care Manager role since 2022, whilst the current Manager was taking an extended period of Maternity Leave.
Following her previous promotion into the role of Assistant Care Manager in 2021, Lisa quickly became a valued member of the Management team at our sister home, Perton Manor, swiftly integrating herself into a busy and demanding role.
Assisting the Care Manager with the day-to-day management of the Care Team, Lisa also worked closely alongside care staff, supporting the highest standards of care delivery, leading by example. When the opportunity arose for Lisa to take on the role of Acting Care Manager at Woodford House, she felt ready and wholeheartedly embraced the challenge.
She currently holds a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care and is studying to attain a Level 4 Diploma.
Lisa has always expressed her passion for person-centred care and strives to ensure each and every client continues to receive dignified care with an individualised approach.
She continues to develop with drive and determination to succeed, supporting others to do the same.
“I was delighted to accept when offered the permanent position as Care Manager. I’m looking forward to what the future holds within my new role and beyond, contributing to an excellent care delivery service for all of our wonderful clients”

Charlotte was promoted to Senior Nurse in June 2023, whilst still working at sister home Perton Manor. She was the first Nurse to be appointed to the newly implemented role, bridging the gap between Nurses and the Clinical Nurse Manager.
In January 2024, the opportunity arose for Charlotte to transfer to Woodford House, supporting the Nursing team in a senior capacity. Her day-to-day duties include supervision, guidance and mentoring of the Nursing team, liaising with external professionals to complete client assessments and reviews, medication management, rota management, auditing and tending to the well-being and clinical needs of all clients within the home.
Charlotte’s career began as a Nursery Nurse for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). She soon developed a desire for higher education, and in 2006, qualified as a Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD). Working as a Registered Nurse for just over a decade, Charlotte discovered her passion for further developing her skills by exploring other fields of Nursing. In December 2017, she approached Capulet Care and was successfully appointed as a Registered Nurse with the company.
Expanding on her knowledge and skills, Charlotte has since completed a Practice Assessor & Practice Supervisor course via Wolverhampton University. This enables her to mentor, assess and sign off competencies for new Nurses, or Student Nurses who are working at Woodford House on placements.
Charlotte continues to build on her skill set, growing with the role and looking forward to what the future holds.
“Since joining the organisation, I have had the pleasure of developing my skills across 2 of Capulet Care’s homes, working with a varied client group living with a multitude of different mental health and complex care needs. I continue to enjoy further personal and professional development with the company and within my role as Senior Nurse.”
