Food is very good
Thank you for your 5 star review of our home. We are delighted that we have given the high quality of care that we strive for and it is always lovely when it is appreciated.
Moved in during mid May, very welcoming. Staff very friendly and ready to do any tasks to make Mum comfortable. Chef asked what Mum likes. Laundry really well washed.
Thank you for your kind words and review. The whole team works hard to ensure the needs of our residents and their families are met.
Very nice residents all seem to be happy and content.
Thank you for your rating of our home. it is great that you have 5-star rated the care and the management. we strive to give only the best care to our residents and we have very happy when it is appreciated.
My brother has been a resident at Eversleigh Nursing Home for a number of years and has always received excellent care and kindness both for his physical and mental health as well as understanding of his learning difficulties. The staff are always welcoming and pleasant and do their very best to make visitors to the home welcome at all times. The home always looks clean and I have never noticed any bad smells. My brother's room is always in good order and he receives a good variety of meals. He did have a feeding tube at one time because of a serious illness which it was later discovered was incorrectly diagnosed and the tube was removed. However, in view of this, care is taken by staff to ensure that his food is generally easy to digest and he rarely experiences any problems despite being 81 years of age.
Your thoughtful words about the care and kindness your brother receives truly means a lot and will be shared with everyone involved in his care.
Thank you again for your continued trust and support.
The building is in need of a refit and isn't fancy, but the quality of the care far outweighs that.
I'm grateful for the support of the whole team during what can often be a lonely and sad time for relatives.
Your kind comments about our care, nursing and support teams truly mean a lot and will be shared with everyone...
Mum seems to be very settled in the home and that's down to the lovely staff who care for her and keep an eye on her. We are always updated if there are any issues which gives confidence in their care. As mum becomes less and less communicative they regularly check on her which is good to see.
We are a little disappointed the long awaited refurb hasn't yet started, the tired appearance is the only thing that lets it down in my view. Hopefully it's still on the cards
We also appreciate your honest feedback...
The care and kindness shown to my mother is exceptional. The staff are attentive, compassionate and always treat her with dignity and respect. The home is clean, and in my opinion, very well run. We have complete pease of mind knowing she is in safe and caring hands.
It is wonderful to hear that you are happy with the care and support your mum receives. Providing compassionate care in a safe, respectful and welcoming environment is extremely important to us, and I...
My uncle is an 89 'pleasantly confused' person, who until last year, was very active with no red illnesses. His physical and, especially, mental decline has been dramatic. The care he has received at Eversleigh has been first class. All of the staff take time to talk and chat with him. Likewise, when I visit, someone always takes time to update me. I also get regular updates by phone. Staff also ensure his personal care is taken care of. Highly recommend.
It is wonderful to know that your uncle has felt cared for and supported by our team, and...
I highly recommend this facility and can't thank them enough for the care and support they offered my aunt

Very happy with the care, attention and dedication. The staff are attentive and responsive and always on hand to discuss issues/problems. Any concerns are raised either in person or by telephone promptly and regular updates are provided.
Michelle, Office Manager has been particularly helpful when we experienced some issues with local authority funding. Michelle displayed considerable patience, humility and tenacity to help sort this and it made a difficult experience much more bearable.
Thank you for kind words. We strive to ensure we deliver high quality care and the support our residents deserve. I will share your kind words with Michelle.

Paul
It's not a criticism because it is not important but the nursing home itself is a little shabby. However, I understand refurbishment is planned. Above all, the atmosphere is comforting and homely, something that again my husband likes very much. It definitely has a positive effect on him.
I have no hesitation in recommending Eversleigh very highly.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are always delighted to hear that the home is meeting the needs of our residents. I will pass on your kind words to all the staff.
Nan always looks presentable clean tidy.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are always delighted when we are able to meet the needs of the people who stay with us. I will pass on your kind words to all the staff.
On his arrival my father walked into this home himself, the lack of the most basic care was exceptionally worrying. My 82yr old mother had to visit daily she was so worried about him. With the support of social services we moved him to another care home approximately 9 weeks later, but unable to walk had to be transferred by ambulance. New care home got him mobile within days and a few weeks later he gained 9lbs in weight, was smiling and totally transformed!
We are sorry to hear about your experience of our home. We strive to offer the highest standards of care and we are disappointed when this has not been achieved. It is sometimes difficult for all of us to deal with the changing needs of residents and often that is the reason for their admission in...
The care, support, compassion and dignity provided to my mother is extremely good. Eversleigh staff are caring and kind, offering support on many levels. Her health needs are met and they engage with my mother with kindness. On numerous visits, I have observed staff interacting with residents, playing board games, dancing to music, craft activities and always with a smile.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. we are always delighted when we can meet the needs of the people who stay with us. I will pass on your kind review to the team.
I have made a written formal complaint and 4 weeks later not received a reply. The overall impression is that the home is friendly and compassionate. However, the care is poor and the staff not attentive and do not listen or respond to requests. The laundry system is poor despite £35.00 spent on name buttons. Laundry 'lost' dad's expensive personal duvet, clothes and towels do not come back. New socks were lost after a few days. Food at best is school dinners and stodgy, few vegetables and fruit offered.
We sent a response to this person following receipt of their concerns. To say the care is poor is just rubbish. Our staff are dilligent and caring and work hard to meet the needs of our residents. However, not everyone can deal with aggressive questioning which is why we ask that people discuss any...
Eversleigh House needs to be refurbished to bring up to date and that is planned to start soon. Don't let that put you off, the kind and efficient and loving care that my husband and I have received is so much more valuable than paint and carpet. The home has a lovely family feel, is always well staffed and the carers and nurses are all wonderful. There is love and kindness in the air and this makes things easier.
Thank you for your lovely review which I will share with the whole team. At Eversleigh Nursing Home we take pride in supporting residents and their families. We are also looking forward to the refurbishment starting.
We are very happy with Eversleigh Care Home. From a visitor's perspective, the free parking is ideal and the security is very good. The staff are very attentive and friendly, always willing to explain and listen to a resident/visitor's needs. The food is always on-time and tasty and the two large rooms on the ground floor (lounge and dining room) are ideal for the residents. The whole place is very welcoming and warm, with lots of activities taking place throughout the year. Thank you to all at Eversleigh!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. we are always delighted when we can meet the needs of the people who stay with us. I will pass on your kind review to the team.
The staff all went the extra mile nothing was goo great or small to deal with. Not just my father all the residents were treated life family members. Your care home is built on the great staff you have and I cannot them rate too highly.
Thank you so much for the wonderful review of our home and service which I will share with the family. We strive to always offer the best service and high standards of care and it gives us great pleasure when we find that we have met the needs of our residents and their families.
We were advised that we would be offered 3 places under the CHC scheme for my father, then in the Myton Hospice. Eversleigh was the first place we were offered, late in the afternoon. I rang first thing in the morning, arranged to call straight in, and felt immediately very comfortable when greeted at the door by very happy, smiling and welcoming staff. Having then met their incredibly efficient team we had no hesitation in confirming that we wished to take the place that was being offered. There seemed absolutely no point in waiting for two more offers - I seriously felt we could not do better for my father. Within an hour the transfer from the Hospice had all been arranged. It took him just 24 hours to feel settled in, and without doubt, their support has given him a new “lease of life”. Thank you to his care team and colleagues.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We are pleased you are happy with Eversleigh Nursing Home as a placement for your father. We will continue to make your dad's stay as smooth as possible.
