Kenilworth Grange is a bright, comfortable purpose-built care home close to the centre of historic Kenilworth. The skilled and dedicated team provides specialist residential, nursing and respite care for older people, including those who are living with dementia.

The lifestyle team supports residents to enjoy meaningful experiences, with group and one-to-one activities, as well as trips to local museums, markets, shops, pubs and cafes.

Each bedroom has en-suite facilities and stylish furniture, and your loved one is welcome to bring their own treasured items to help them feel more at home. There are different living areas, lounges and quiet rooms around the home, as well as a hair salon and gardens that are very popular with residents.

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

My visits to Kenilworth Grange to see my husband are always met by a very pleasant and helpful receptionist, no appointment is needed. My husband has settled in well and enjoys the food and the excellent carers who are very approachable for information regarding his wellbeing.

I can't recommend Kenilworth Grange enough. We'd been trying to give Mum care at home and her dementia and health were seriously deteriorating. Since going to Kenilworth Grange nearly four years ago her health has improved beyond recognition, both physically and mentally. All of the staff and management
have been wonderful and very caring. The activity team are like a second family to Mum and she obviously feels very much at home and safe there. It's such a relief to know that she's happy and content and we feel as if we can work together with the staff on anything that Mum would enjoy or is in her best interests.

My experience with Kenilworth Grange, has always been an excellent experience. The receptionist, the cleaners, the carers, all of the staff are always polite and friendly. My mum has been a resident for over four years and is very happy there. Nothing is ever much trouble and all because my mum is very

The Grange is a dirty home. The residents are fed food that they don't like. The rooms are stuffy and not clean at all. The furniture is sticky and the manager is so rude. The staff are so busy and there is no interaction with the residents.

When we visit our friend who is resident in the grange, she is always pleased to see us. Most of the staff seem considerate, particularly the ones who are hands-on with the resident's care, because our friend is confined to a chair due to her loss of mobility, she often complains of feeling uncomfortable
in the position she sits. The activities, which are organised by the lifestyle co-ordinator are imaginative and appropriate to the needs of the residents.

A review of the last 12 months is rather difficult as the period is totally dominated by the pandemic. Restricted access to loved ones has been dictated by Government and the management and staff at Kenilworth must have faced tremendous problems in addition to their 'normal' workload. Under such circumstances,
one can but praise the management and staff for their professional and friendly attention not only to patients but to their loved ones who were subject to such draconian restrictions covering contact with their relatives and the home.
After some perceived hesitation Kenilworth Grange reacted and established the pod system which, although not perfect, did give some restricted contact opportunity. Meanwhile, the everyday life in the home seemed to continue apace and with the additional input from senior staff members, communication was much improved. Perhaps and understandably routine matters of health and wellbeing have perhaps not been reported on in the, previously, detailed manner.

I am extremely pleased with all aspects of my husbands care. It has been a very challenging time and the staff have worked very hard to keep everyone safe whilst trying to make everything is normal for them. We have been able to make video calls and window visits and, more recently, use the Covid safe
pod to remain in contact. I am very grateful to all the staff for a job well done under very difficult circumstances.

I am very happy with the care my dad is receiving especially during the current pandemic with all the staff working very hard to keep all the residents safe. My wife was admitted from hospital. She received the utmost care and attention anyone could hope for. I was not allowed to see her, due to current restrictions, but every time I phoned to enquire about her, nothing was too much trouble and the staff gave me a number so I could get through quicker and
I was so grateful for that. Unfortunately, my wife's dementia got worse, but the staff passed on my message of love to her, this I shan't forget. She received the utmost care, she was brought home on 27th November but got progressively worse and passed away on 5th January. I do apologise for late response

My mum had the privilege of spending her 6-week dementia assessment with Kenilworth grange. During her stay, she was extremely well looked after. She was encouraged to take part in all activities and was even spoilt on her birthday with a surprise birthday cake. A very special place with staff that

My sister has been at Kenilworth Grange Care Home, Kenilworth for a number of years. As a family, we have great appreciation for the quality of care given.
We have always felt able to discuss her care with staff at all levels.
They contact us when necessary. Staff are respectful and friendly. Her
room is well cared for her.
I always feel confident that she has the best of care. She is safe and treated as an individual.
The food is good and attractively presented.

My nan has been a different person since moving to Kenilworth Grange. She has vascular dementia and was extremely withdrawn/anxious and unhappy living alone, had many falls and I found this very worrying.
The change in her is amazing. The staff at Kenilworth Grange are kind, caring, professional and
above all treat my nan with complete dignity. There are various daily activities and staff are always available/visible to talk to at any time to check on her progress.
The food choice is amazing and mealtimes are in a calm environment, encouragement is given if needed.
I can’t thank everyone at Kenilworth Grange enough – my Nan is so happy and well looked after, which in turn gives me complete peace of mind.

My husband seems to be settling in although we thought he would not do so because he has always been so close to his family.
He does need a lot of help, especially at night when he doesn't sleep a lot.

Job Title: Home Manager

I’m a nurse by training but am an experienced care home manager. I love how every day is different here at Kenilworth Grange. I thrive on change, and I enjoy solving the various challenges that surface on any given day.


Residents of Kenilworth Grange have a wide variety of needs, and ensuring that they’re receiving the best, personalised care in the way they want is a full-time job and a partnership between our home team, the resident themselves and their family.


Ours is a welcoming and fun care home that’s full of personalities. I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else.
