We arrived at Kineton Manor very nervous about the new experience but were immediately made at home and given care at all times by one of the family of staff.

Patients are treated with utmost dignity and kindness. There is always an air of calm whatever time of day one arrives and members of our family are made so welcome.

My father moved into Kineton Manor Nursing Home in September 2021 for respite care initially, following a fall and mini-stroke. The staff were welcoming, helpful and supportive settling him in and very professional when attending to his medical needs. It was a huge relief to know he was in a place of safety where he regarded his carers as friends and flourished in the warm, family atmosphere and with the tasty, well-balanced meals he enjoyed there. Sadly, after initially improving beyond expectations, he suffered a major stroke in February and passed away in May. During this difficult time, we continued to be impressed by the kindness, patience and professionalism of the staff. Communication was excellent - we received daily updates by telephone when we couldn't be there in person. The compassionate, sensitive support shown to us as a family was outstanding. All this was while Covid rules continued to make things harder for the staff who remained cheerful, friendly and approachable throughout.

My mother has been a resident since February 2020. From the outset and continuously, Mum's care has been of the highest order. During Covid times Kineton did everything to protect residents and staff with the utmost professionalism and compassion. What was an extraordinarily difficult time was eased by knowing that Mum was in the safest place for her and that she was receiving the best care. My brother and I do not live locally but we have felt totally involved in Mum's care (ongoing) and totally part of Kineton's 'family'.

This nursing home is wonderful. My mother of 93 has dementia and has been living here since October 2021. She was able to come with her dog which helped the transition from her home to Kineton Manor Nursing Home and although we couldn’t keep him there it made it all so much easier and we were so grateful to the staff for allowing my mother this prop. We are told this is her home and they do everything they can to make life contented for them and fun. Nearly always a smile from my mother when I visit and from the staff. Covid restrictions permitting a cup of coffee when I visit is happily brought to me as I sit with my mother in the beautiful garden. A new arbour in the garden with lovely views and shaded is a thoughtful addition for residents and visitors. My mother in law was a resident, she died 8 years ago. It says a lot that many of the staff are the same. The ethos is excellent.

My mother lived at Kineton Manor (recently deceased) for 5 years. I can honestly say that I don't think she could have been looked after any better than she was. The staff were always extremely professional and at the same time very 'human'. My family and I were made to feel like part of a big family who were all working together to make Mum's life as happy and as comfortable as possible.

Mum moved from a nursing home near Preston to be nearer to us. The room, staff and atmosphere helped her settle quickly, despite being deft and getting dementia. The staff are very kind and professional. During COVID lockdown I visited to see her through her ground floor window. She contracted COVID in the home and survived it. She was looked after for a further 18 months, dying very peacefully in January 2021 (not COVID). The staff are excellent at what they do and create a lovely home.

Both my parents were warmly welcomed to Kineton Manor in December 2020. They soon felt at home and became relaxed, happy and content. I have found the staff to be friendly, warmhearted, caring and compassionate with huge reserves of patience and goodwill; nothing seems too much trouble and they really value each resident and treat them as well-loved family members. Watching them talk with and provide help to my mum in such a gentle and reassuring way is lovely to see. It is clear she feels totally at ease and sees all staff as 'friends and family'. Equally, I feel so glad that my dad was able to spend the last few months of his life here, where he was safe and secure in his 'four-star hotel' and so well cared for in every respect. As a family we feel we made absolutely the very best choice: kind, dedicated and experienced staff who always have a smile and provide wonderful care; accomplished management; a homely atmosphere and comfortable surroundings. We couldn't be more pleased.

My wife has been a resident at Kineton Manor for 18 months, during that period I have found the standard of nursing care to be outstanding, the whole of the care home is kept to a very high standard of cleanliness, the room is always immaculate as is every aspect of the home. The staff on reception are always willing to help in any way they can and the overall staff could not be more helpful or caring in respect of the residents. Birthdays are celebrated with a small number of family, due to the Covid restrictions, laying on a very nice afternoon tea with a birthday cake. The home stick to Covid regulations to the letter, including providing correct PPE for the visitors. The ambiance is noticeable as soon as you walk through the door. Residents smile and look happy, the pets are a great help to some residents as they feel more at home. On a nice day, residents can go outside into the garden which is always kept to a high standard. I would not hesitate to recommend Kineton Manor.

The standard of nursing care, cleanliness of residents and personal spaces, food choices and the sense of inclusivity with the whole staff team all shone out. There was always a welcome at the door following the strict and very careful Covid guideline constraints ensuring all residents and staff remained safe. Members of the team remembered your name and who you were visiting and offered friendship and support at times of sad news as well as hot drinks and sandwiches, which was very kind indeed.
I believe the home is exceptionally well managed and offer a really kind caring environment with a supportive team who are always on hand.

As much as anyone does not wish a close relative to have to resort to being in a care home, this one offers one of the best experiences. I would highly recommend it.

As a generalisation the Manor has been very helpful, considerate and kind. They laid on a tasty buffet to celebrate my mother's 100th birthday for a few of her living friends. It is quite hard to write a review as we have nothing to compare to, my uncle became a resident during the pandemic. During this very difficult time, the fantastic staff at Kineton Manor have been so lovely, caring and always communicate how he is, be it medical or otherwise. When my uncle arrived he was agitated and confused. Now he looks cared for, he smiles and looks more ‘himself’. This is all down to the dedication of the staff. We can’t thank everyone enough for their hard work keeping every resident COVID safe. Kineton Manor is a warm, friendly nursing home, full of laughter, pets, activities and is set in lovely grounds. The visiting is made easy and safe. I would recommend Kineton Manor without hesitation.

Due to Covid, I was unable to visit my grandad at Kineton Manor until he was approaching the end of his life. I spent his last night with him and the staff could not have been kinder or more professional. The staff nurse on duty looked after me and my dad particularly well, he brought us tea, sandwiches and biscuits throughout the night and made us feel comfortable. More importantly, the care that he gave to my grandfather during his last night was compassionate, keeping him comfortable for his final hours and maintaining his dignity through out. He is a fantastic nurse and a credit to this care home. One of the carers on duty on that particular night was also very professional and kind. Both members of staff made this difficult time much better than it might have been and I could not have been happier with the care that my grandfather received.

My aunt was, and now my very elderly mother has been a resident of Kineton Manor for several years and I can recommend it as a caring, safe and comfortable nursing home. No one likes the thought that someone they love must leave their home to be cared for by strangers, but if it has to happen, then Kineton Manor provides skilled care in a homely and comforting setting. My mother has occasionally been very ill, but thanks to the care she has received in Kineton, she has recovered, against the odds, and even thrives. The house and gardens are most attractive, but what strikes you immediately as you enter is the friendliness of the staff, who greet visitors, often by name, and in whose company the residents generally appear relaxed and content. It is a calm and reassuring place, no mean feat in 2020. The management of the home has been excellent throughout the Covid-19 outbreak, enabling us to maintain contact with my mother through telephone calls and secure visits. We are very grateful.
