Overall Experience

Having moved my mother at the grand old age of 88 from her home in Ireland to Lindon Lodge, I can only say how thankful I am for the care, attention and affection given to my mother for what was to be her final 6 months. The standard of care given made my mother feel comfortable despite early dementia setting in which would otherwise have left her feeling vulnerable and confused. I was made to feel like one of their family, from reception to cleaning, from the carers, nurses and the matron - I couldn't have asked for a better place. The home has exceptionally high standards with everything from cleaning to food, from caregiving to respect. The carers and nursing staff are both attentive and non-intrusive all the same time. I will never forget the first sentence my mother said when having her first "welcome" cup of tea - "I know it's not home, but it feels like home". Knowing my mother was so well cared for and content made the world of difference to both of us.

We couldn’t recommend Linden Lodge highly enough, our mother was in Linden Lodge for end of life care, and the care was absolutely marvellous and their care for the family too was brilliant, I hope when I need care there is still a place like Linden Lodge. The place and grounds are beautiful and very clean, the residents are very well cared for and also lots of activities available. Well done Linden Lodge.

My ninety-three-year-old mother, who has a complex medical history is receiving the most wonderful nursing care at Linden Lodge. The home is professionally run, has trained, approachable, friendly staff and is spotlessly clean and secure. The rooms are extremely comfortable and homely, and the food freshly prepared - can't fault it. Well done!
