Linden Lodge care home specialises in providing person-centred nursing and dementia care for the elderly.

The warm and welcoming home is set within 4 acres of landscaped gardens and orchards.

It is close to the village of Polesworth and within easy reach of the M42 and A5. Although the home is set in the rural countryside it is only 20 to 30 minutes drive from Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, Birmingham or Nuneaton.

The caring and motivated staff have many years of relevant experience and ensure that all residents are treated with dignity and respect at all times.

We were very happy with the care and consideration given to our father during his short stay.
The staff were so helpful and kind. The nursing home was very clean and well maintained.

Having moved my mother at the grand old age of 88 from her home in Ireland to Lindon Lodge, I can only say how thankful I am for the care, attention and affection given to my mother for what was to be her final 6 months. The standard of care given made my mother feel comfortable despite early dementia
setting in which would otherwise have left her feeling vulnerable and confused. I was made to feel like one of their family, from reception to cleaning, from the carers, nurses and the matron - I couldn't have asked for a better place. The home has exceptionally high standards with everything from cleaning to food, from caregiving to respect. The carers and nursing staff are both attentive and non-intrusive all the same time. I will never forget the first sentence my mother said when having her first "welcome" cup of tea - "I know it's not home, but it feels like home". Knowing my mother was so well cared for and content made the world of difference to both of us.

We couldn’t recommend Linden Lodge highly enough, our mother was in Linden Lodge for end of life care, and the care was absolutely marvellous and their care for the family too was brilliant, I hope when I need care there is still a place like Linden Lodge. The place and grounds are beautiful and very
clean, the residents are very well cared for and also lots of activities available. Well done Linden Lodge.

My ninety-three-year-old mother, who has a complex medical history is receiving the most wonderful nursing care at Linden Lodge. The home is professionally run, has trained, approachable, friendly staff and is spotlessly clean and secure. The rooms are extremely comfortable and homely, and the food
freshly prepared - can't fault it. Well done!

I joined LLNH in 1990 and have been the Registered Manager here for the last 20 years.


Being a qualified Registered Nurse with an Orthopaedic Nurse Certificate and a Level 4 Registered Managers award, I am passionate about making this home the best it can be, not only for the residents but also for the staff that work here and become part of our large family.

I have over 14 years of experience working in the healthcare industry. I joined Linden Care Homes in 2019 as a Care Assistant then progressed to a Deputy Manager.


After two years in that role, I am now job-sharing as a Home Manager with our long-standing Registered Manager at Linden Lodge Nursing Home.


I have a real passion for Person-Centred Care, providing the best care and environment for our residents as if they were my own family. Job satisfaction for me is interacting daily with our residents and seeing them happy.


At Linden Care Homes as soon as you walk through the doors, you can feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere.


The whole team are exceptionally kind and caring which gives me a sense of fulfilment unlike anything else I have experienced in my career.

Sister Russel is a highly qualified motivated nurse having achieved a degree in nursing, a leadership and management award level 4/5 and is a practice assessor for student nurses.
Having worked at Linden Care homes for 16 years she has extensive knowledge and skills in adult general nursing, palliative care, end of life care and has tissue viability expertise.


She leads by example promoting person-centred values of individuality, rights, privacy, choice, independence, dignity and partnership.


Her leadership inspires others based on core values of empathy and caring, kindness, compassion, respect and integrity.


Maintaining high standards of nursing care at all times within our nursing unit, she and her team of nurses and health care staff uphold evidence base practices to prioritise residents in their care to ensure that their needs are recognised, assessed, responded to and their dignity is preserved.

I am very passionate about my work and dedicated to maintaining our high standards of cleanliness for our Residents.


I am married with two daughters and a grandson and am very family orientated.

I started my career at Linden Lodge Nursing Home in 2003 as a kitchen assistant weekend job whilst still at school.


Linden Lodge encouraged me to go to catering college where I trained to be a cook.


During my time at Linden Lodge I have steadily improved my skills and am now Head of Catering for all Linden Care Homes Ltd and am responsible for the standard of catering in all three homes. I have been here for 18 years and I love my job.
