My Mum was at this Care Home for nearly 4 years. The staff were so friendly and helpful to the whole family and very respectful to my Mum. I know that my Mum would have appreciated the care she was given and definitely had her favourite carers that the home tried to give her when they could. Mum sadly passed away in April but I cannot thank the staff enough for the compassion that was shown to the family and the dignity with which we were treated at this sad time. I would definitely recommend this Nursing Home.

Thank you to the manager who rescued my husband from hospital, can't thank him enough.
Thanks to the nurses and carer who treated him with respect and kindness no matter how much he shouted at them.
Thanks to the kitchen staff for the numerous cups of tea or coffee and got told off for going in their domain.

Thank you to everyone.

My mother has been at this nursing home for 2 and a half years and I and all the family are so pleased that we found this nursing home as my mother has dementia and other major medical needs as well as being bedbound.

My mother still enjoys her food which is freshly prepared daily, staff are wonderful, helpful, friendly and caring.

Mum has now been here for just under two years and is content and relaxed most of the time. Her care is wonderful and all the carers treat her with dignity and compassion as she progresses into advanced dementia and nears her 90th birthday. From her personal care to feeding, they are very kind and caring as Mum is unable to do anything for herself anymore. They are always there to help if we have any questions. The kindness stretches across all areas from management to carers, housekeepers and kitchen staff alike. Myself and all the family know we can leave Mum here to be cared for without any worries.

I would like to say that the staff and the home manager have been most helpful with the care of my brother. They are very understanding with my brother as it is hard to accept we only have a short while with him and this time has been very helpful with my brother.

My grandmother is always content and comfortable, she is always well cared for and assisted when she needs, and as a family, it's a massive reassurance to know she is being looked after safely and efficiently.

My mother has been in Royal Leamington Spa Nursing Home for approximately two and a half years. The room is spacious and overlooks beautiful garden area. She has brilliant care, personal and emotional. Even the cleaner chats to her which is much appreciated. The manager and deputy manager are a credit to this company. They have helped me overcome lots of problems with mum over this period. I couldn't ask for a more caring environment. Also, the activity coordinator reads to my mum which is much appreciated.

My mother went to another nursing home closer to family but requested a move back to the Royal Leamington Spa because the care was just not as good and did not compare to this home.

I have been here a few days and I have thoroughly enjoyed myself. I have been in hospital for 4 months and really glad to be in a normal, caring environment. The staff are all lovely and caring, the room itself is great, clean and tidy. The rest of the nursing home is clean and tidy too. The good is very nice and fresh.

For me, this is the perfect place for my care. All my needs, and more, are catered for in every respect, in an atmosphere that is immediately felt on meeting the staff. Without exception, they are always extremely helpful in meeting and anticipating my needs willingly and unfailingly cheerfully. Being in such a positive atmosphere is a major contribution to my mental and physical health. Routine 'care' can be provided by virtually anyone and the quality of real care here is exceptional, and I would not wish to spend my life anywhere else but among these reassuring friends.

We moved Dad into this home after he could no longer look after himself. He found the transition very hard as he never wanted to go into care. The staff were extremely welcoming and soon won dad over. Nothing seemed too much bother. When dad entered the final stages of his life I found the care and dignity shown to him and to us as a family made a very upsetting period of my life that little bit easier.

Hi, my name is Brankica,

I’m the Care Manager at The Royal Leamington Spa Nursing Home. I have been working at the Royal Leamington Spa Nursing Home since 2018, after coming to England from Macedonia, where I was working as a nurse in a private polyclinic. I love to care, full of compassion, strength, passion, positivity and courageousness in all my work. I also love to help people and my staff at all times. For example, on my days off, I am always available to be contacted, and I support our carer staff. I have gained different experiences at The Royal Leamington Spa Nursing Home in all areas of care. For example, I not only deliver exceptional care to residents, but I also assist in the training and induction of new staff, so that they can achieve the high care standards required when working for the home.

I have gained the following qualifications since I started work at the Home. These qualifications have helped me to execute my role excellently. These are the Level 4 Advanced People Handling and Risk Assessment Key Trainer’s Certificate, Certificate in Conflict Management (CPD Online College), Certificate in Team Leading Level 2 (CPD Online College), and Certificate in Tracheostomy Care Awareness.

I am always trying to do better and level up in providing care for our residents. I am also one of the Homes' Infection Control Champions. Some of my daily work involves verbal or written supervision with carer staff, support, updating, teaching, training, and advice on residents' activities of daily living. My goal is to see content, positive and happy staff, residents, and families. I believe if all staff are happy, content and proud, our residents will be happier and content as well, including their families. I am happy to see our staff, residents and family happy.

My Motto is: - "SMILE ON THE DAY, AND IT WILL SMILE BACK TO YOU".
