I have been here for almost 1 year and I love this care home very much. The management staff and all the people who take care of me are so very good. I have a few things like coeliac disease so I am on a medical diet and so my food has to be gluten-free. I also have osteoporosis. The nurses are very
caring to me. If I have any problems I go to the manager and she sorts things out for me.

Clean and tidy. The food was of good quality but they found it difficult to keep it warm. Nothing was too much trouble. If I have to go into a care home again, my first choice would be April Park. Well done.

My father was a resident of April Park Care Home for about 3 years until his passing in January 2021 at the hospital at the age of 101 years.
The home itself is welcoming with bright and clean furnishings which are excellently maintained.
The staff there were all amazing and so helpful and kind. They
were all so friendly and made me feel they were all doing their best to make him happy and at the same time safely looking after him. The past year has been extremely difficult for all of us especially not being able to visit my father. My only contact being to drop him supplies and letters at the home and the staff reporting to us about his welfare. I felt confident that they were doing an excellent job in extremely difficult times. I want to take this opportunity on national thank you day July 4 2021 to say a massive thank you to all at April Park.

Always doing activities with residents, always keep up to date. It's better now the new manager has come in. The only thing the previous manager did which my nan liked was nip in on the residents, but I have seen a massive change for the better.

My grandpa is very happy here and gets good care. The staff are warm and friendly and take good care of him. He has been here for over a year and there have been no issues. Visiting has been difficult due to covid but visits have started and they have been managed well and safely.

Since my mother has been a resident of April park she has been treated as I would wish,
she has been looked after so well that she feels totally at home and has settled in within a matter of days.
The staff and carers are most helpful and they are looking after her health and welfare.

My stepdad has only just gone into April Park but the team I have met are very helpful and the manager even came in on her day off to help with my stepdad. Can not thank them enough for all the hard work they do. Would recommend this care home to anyone looking to having to put a loved one in of their

Our uncle was admitted to April Park upon concerns after a few hospital visits during the year - April Park took him in with open arms and have cared for him greatly since his admission. He has been well looked after, always clean and always cheerful. We haven't been able to visit much due to the COVID
pandemic, however, they send us regular updates for the family to keep in touch. The carers are always lovely and always go above and beyond. The manager is lovely and will do anything to help. Absolutely amazing team and couldn't ask for a better place for him to be.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, it is getting more and more difficult for residents who are missing loved ones. I’m confident my mum is safe and cared for by the staff at April Park. I feel extremely thankful and grateful for the Covid safe visits the home now have in place. Thank you, April Park.

I would just like to say thank you to all the management and staff at April Park Eckington for doing a fantastic job keeping residents and themselves safe. It is a lovely place with brilliant people working there always clean and tidy with lovely food. My mum has been in April Park 4 years in August

I had a problem which was causing me a few sleepless nights which I thought would mean taking pops out of April Park, so I took my troubles to the manager and within 30 minutes, she had got the whole thing sorted (what a star).
All I can say about the manager and staff at April Park is absolutely marvellous.
My pops loves them all and I have peace of mind knowing that my pops has the best care possible.

Since my wife became a resident of April Park nearly six years ago, after a long illness, I have been thoroughly impressed with her care the wonderful staff, who go out of their way to make her comfortable and create a homely atmosphere. Visitors are treated very well, like an extended family. Her room
and the communal areas are kept so clean and fresh and she is enjoying the lovely food. I cannot say enough about this wonderful place and the lovely staff. Nothing is too much trouble. The most encouraging thing for me now is that it is so lovely to see her smiling again.

My nan comes in for a weeks respite. She loves every minute. When leaving she cried as she wanted to stay. My nan has gained weight since coming into April Park. The staff and management team are really lovely and nothing is too much trouble.
