My mother went into April Park 3 1/2 years ago. She was ill couldn't manage at home. The staff were brilliant, soon her health improved and she looked upon the staff as her extended family. She enjoyed her food but had Crohns and Diverticulitis. The cook always made sure there was something suitable
for her needs. The manager and her team have "gone the extra mile" for mum. Mum made friends with other residents and enjoyed meal times chatting to them. Many thanks to everyone who made mums time there a happy one.

My father in Law is becoming increasingly confused and forgetful and the staff at April Park are unfailingly patient and understanding. I have nothing but admiration for the way they look after, not only my relative but all residents, with compassion, humour and patience.

I am more than pleased with the care given to my mother and late father at April Park.
The staff are always friendly towards us and were very helpful during the period between my father's death and his funeral. They continue to be very caring and helpful.

Mum went into April Park Nursing Home for respite following a fall at home. She had a minimal care package and as her condition has deteriorated quite quickly mum has stayed in the home. The rooms are comfortable and are being decorated one by one. Mum is still waiting to be re-plastered around the
new sink unit. 90% of the staff are absolutely brilliant. There are the few 10% who seem to be there just for a wage. The food is very good and the standard of cleanliness is 100%. The door is always open to visitors.

Attentive, diligent, professional, caring, patient, kind. The staff interact with and know all the residents. The care home smells nice and, having visited a few, this is not always the case. The food is freshly cooked and served with a variety of menu to suit each resident. If ever there has been a
problem with my mother the staff are attentive and keep me informed. Despite the numerous mental health issues the staff have to deal with I have never heard a raised voice from them and I am totally from worry about mums care.

I found the home to be a very relaxed and comfortable place to be. The management and the other staff are very friendly and professional and are always around to help. The home is very clean and very fresh smelling. The residents were very comfortable and happy in themselves. I would have no hesitation
at all in recommending your home to any family or friends.

My mother stayed at the home for approx 4 weeks. We were very happy with her stay and treatment during this time. The staff were excellent and the manager was first class.

I have never taken dad to respite care before, so was very unsure of what to expect, even though the manager and assistant manager came to see me first. I needn't have worried. They were very courteous and respectful to dad. At first he was a little low but the staff identified this and gave him comfort.
He was beautifully clean and dressed whenever I went to see him.

My mother recently became a resident at April Park and was immediately made very welcome with friendly and efficient staff who look after her personal needs with dignity and respect. She has settled in well. Visitors made to feel welcome.
