April Park is a lovely home, there are no smells and it is very clean. The home is the best I've been in and I've visited a few. My sister-in-law is very happy and states the food is lovely.

My wife has attended April Park for the last 4 years.
Three for daycare and the last year in residence.
She has always been well cared for by all concerned.
We as a family have no complaints.
She is treated with respect at all times.

Although no expert on care homes, I am completely satisfied with all aspects on the care and I have the utmost respect for management and staff, who do an excellent job in caring for my mother which is 5 star.
I would have no problem recommending the care home to anyone.

I visited my friend here at the home and thought what a lovely friendly atmosphere. The staff were very nice and caring. The home was clean and tidy.

I would like to put on record my gratitude to the management and staff of April Park Care Home. The home was able to take my mum at very short notice in difficult circumstances, and have done a fantastic job of looking after her. We have seen a marked improvement whilst Mum has been there, and she is
now as bright and alert as I have known her for a long time. This is in no small part due to the care and attention shown by the staff and everyone involved. Mum will now move to a new home, closer to home, and easier to visit for family and friends.
This would not have been possible without the support of April Park.

Mum and dad reside at April Park Care Home. I have asked their opinion and they have both said what a wonderful place it is. All the staff are caring and thoughtful. The only thing missing is a driver for the minibus. This position is most important and should be a priority. All in all, a great place
with great staff.

Although no one wants to be in a care home if you have to be in one this is one of the better ones. The rooms are very nice. Staff are very friendly and look as though they really care about the residents. Meals are very good.

I always feel safe and secure at April Park Care Home. The staff are lovely and we are treated very well. The food is excellent and we can choose an option if we don't want whats on the menu. The managers are very approachable and the overall cleanliness of the home has improved.

Home was alright. There was a decent choice of food and we went into the dining room with all of the others, which was good. Didn't go hungry. Taken to showers - good. The staff were always nice and called me by my name. All were genuine and tried to help, even though they were very busy. Xmas dinner
ordinary. All the ladies staying there were friendly and talked. The volunteer was very nice. One lady was made to walk but couldn't and she cried. No trips out which was disappointing. On the whole, not a bad home.

Mum was allocated a freshly decorated room which was lovely and quiet. The staff I encountered were extremely friendly and welcoming, each time I visited, which was daily.
Mum didn't really mix with the other residents and stayed in her room for meals etc...
The staff made sure she was OK and took
the time to chat with her. During her stay they staff put on a celebration party for the homes anniversary, this was a lovely gesture and passed a few hours for all tho attended - thank you.
(A good idea to repeat this for Easter/spring/summer etc...)

April Park is a care home and my wife really needed a nursing home. Nonetheless, the care was such that I asked them to keep her there. She was very ill and died shortly after. I don't think a nursing home could have provided better care.

Quick respite arranged. Lovely helpful staff.
The billing process and communication is not great between the care home and the office.
