My family and I are so gratefull for all the care and attention my Mum gets we are so glad we found Maple leaf

The care home very rarely smells of urine, and is always clean and tidy. The recent upgrading of the home has been beautifully painted.

My mum is in the advanced stages of dementia and receiving palliative care; she has been bedridden for over a year. She moved into Maple Leaf House in June this year, and in just a few short weeks, I have been absolutely amazed by the difference in her.

She has been able to have her feet cared for, and her hair cut and styled. But most wonderful of all is seeing her now dressed in her own clothes, sitting upright in a chair, and joining the other residents in the lounge. It brings me such joy to see her part of things again.

Her room is lovely and bright, with a huge window looking out over the beautiful rose garden. Music has always been her great love, and I am so grateful that it is always playing gently in her room.

Every single member of staff has been truly wonderful. They have done everything possible to make my mum comfortable and to give her dignity, happiness, and the best possible quality of life.

I went to the relatives' meeting this week, and the manager took us around the home to see all the new decorations. It's beautiful and a lot of thought has gone into it. The carers and volunteers are wonderful and so caring, nothing is too much. There are activities arranged every day, and inclusive of all. I'm so pleased I found this home for my husband.

I have been a volunteer for nearly a year now. The residents receive the best care possible and the carers go above and beyond and meet all of the residents needs. The residents are treated with dignity and respect.The home its self is always kept tidy and clean and it's home like in the lounges so that residents can relax. There are many activities/entertainment that all residents can participate in so no one is ever left out. The management and domestics are an amazing team and get involved with the residents. The facilities are a good value for money there are taster days that happen so residents get to try different foods and also coffee and cake in the coffee shop and lounges that they can have anytime. No resident is left hungry or without a drink, they are very well looked after. Families also get the support they need when visiting loved ones and get dealt with respectfully. All of the staff are amazing and this home and team are both certainly great.

I am so proud of the way that the carers and staff have coped during all the work being carried out at Maple Leaf, decorating and new flooring, and a general upgrading of the public areas at the home. There has been a lot of disruption, and each wing in turn has been 'evacuated' while the decorators and then the carpet fitters were carrying out that work. There is still work to do, but we are all looking forward to seeing the final result. Well done to you all.

I live abroad and my father was placed here without myself or my brother seeing it. A few month's after his placement at maple leaf house we were able to visit. I must say my family and I were very impressed. We were greeted with a feel of long lost family. The kindness we received will not be forgotten. The home itself is very nice and well taken care of. I love how the residents are able to walk completely around the home without being limited to just a corridor. The home has multiple sitting rooms and plenty of space with many things for the residents to enjoy. The staff are fantastic. I can't get over how caring and involved they are with the residents. You won't find the staff sitting around on their phones here. They stay well connected with the residents and I feel extremely grateful to the staff for the care my father receives while I am thousands of miles away. This home is a home away from home.

Maple Leaf Dementia Care Home has been a true source of comfort for our family. From the moment my father arrived, we felt reassured knowing he was in such capable hands. The staff are not only professional and competent but also deeply caring - it's clear they treat every resident with kindness and respect.

The food is excellent and has made a noticeable difference in my father's well-being. He genuinely enjoys mealtimes.

The activities are thoughtfully designed and keep residents engaged in meaningful ways. It's been a joy to see my father smiling and involved.

Most importantly, I have complete confidence in the care he receives around the clock. The team communicates well and always makes us feel included and supported.

My wife entered Maple Leaf about 6 weeks ago following a stay at Kingsmill hospital following a fall which broke her left hip. She had eaten very little with very poor movement. Since arriving at Maple Leaf she has improved in general health very well. She is now more mobile, her eating has improved. She looks better in herself. This is down to the care of the staff and the general ambience of the home.

I am always delighted to visit Maple Leaf. The welcomes are always second to none. I rarely announce my visit and I am content to see my relative looking clean, well cared for and dignified. The manager's door is always open both physically and metaphorically reassuring me that any worries I have will be listened to and acted upon.

I am very happy with the care of my husband at Maple Leaf House. The staff appear and make you feel like one of the family there. They are kind and caring to the patients. Also, I am made very welcome every time I go. It is a great relief to me knowing he is taken care of, fed lovely food and kept clean along with his room. The staff and management are all very approachable and attentive. They try to stimulate everyone with activities and entertainment. No fears about security. A great place for dementia people.

Since my mum has been in care, my overall experience has been very good. The staff have been excellent with Mum's care. They always inform me with all the information that needs to be passed on. Mum is on a blended diet and all meats are well presented on the plate for Mum. I couldn't ask for a better care home.

The staff are marvellous. The care for my mother is wonderful. Very caring and helpful. Couldn't ask for a better care home.

Dad has been a resident for the last two years. During this time, the fantastic staff have gone above and beyond to make Dad feel comfortable, happy and safe. They have worked hard to understand and be empathetic to his individual needs. He and the other residents are stimulated daily by the amazing activities on offer, Dad loves a dance and a sing-a-long! His "seize the day" treat was wonderful! The whole team made him part of his grandson's wedding day by hosting a very special afternoon tea for family and residents! Wonderful memories!

Maple Leaf is an excellent care home because the staff are all experienced. They are dedicated and caring and treat the residents with dignity at all times. Irrespective of their titles and responsibilities they work as a team. I have been to their care home as a visitor in the past and in my opinion Maple Leaf is better than those by a mile. The furniture and the internal doors have recently been upgraded.

My mum has been in Maple Leaf House for over 2 1/2 years now and I am very happy with the way she is taken care of by all the staff at Maple Leaf. I know she is safe and getting food and drink whenever she needs - and she loves her cuppas. The staff are so good with her, they encourage her when she needs it, but if she doesn't want to do something then they never force her. She loves the activities and the musical therapy. I always feel happy leaving because I know my mum is happy and safe too.

Maple Leaf House gives excellent service to my husband (and other residents). He has been here for 3.5 years and has received wonderful care. Also, the staff are brilliant in caring for families too. Well done in everything they do.

I am a volunteer and I come to Maple Leaf House about 3 times a week. I love to help residents with a drink or just talking to them, it is very satisfying. My husband was a resident here for 18 months but passed away in September 2023. We all love to sing, play ball and do craft work with residents that are able. It's such a lovely, happy home and we all get on like a big family. It is so good. I love it.

My dad has been at Maple Leaf House for 18 months. he is well looked after and very happy. The staff are always welcoming and cheerful and provide excellent care. Dad loves the activities and the entertainment provided by the team. Visiting the home is always a positive experience.
