The staff are a lovely, dedicated team who have clearly been carefully selected to reflect the home's exceptionally high standards of care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sherwood to anyone who has the difficult task of finding a home for their relative.
Thank you for sharing such lovely feedback. We're delighted to hear your aunt is enjoying life at Sherwood and that our team, dining experience and welcoming atmosphere have made a positive difference. Your recommendation means a great deal to us.
3 years ago I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put both my mum and dad into care, both having dementia. I truly made the best decision putting them in Sherwood Forest. Everyone in there goes above and beyond and love my parents like I do.Unfortunately my dad passed away on the 6th January but the care and love they showed me during this time has been amazing. I cry with them and laugh with them. The activities are amazing and there is always something happening to keep them occupied. If I had to do it all again Sherwood would be the one I would choose. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything I love you all.
Thank you for sharing such a deeply moving reflection. It means so much to know your parents felt surrounded by warmth, compassion and meaningful experiences. We're truly touched that you felt supported during such a difficult time, and grateful that the home brought comfort, laughter and connection when it was needed most. Your words mean the world to the whole team.
You could come and go as you pleased and I always felt welcome.

My experience of Sherwood Forest is first class all staff are brilliant. They all take care of my wife superbly. When I am not present I know she is looked after and cared for and kept clean. I've not come across one member staff that would not go the extra mile. I would like to thank all staff and management for doing a great job. Thank you again from a very grateful and very satisfied husband and family.

Creating a warm and supportive environment for residents and their loved ones is always our priority, and it's wonderful to know this has been your experience.
Have always found the staff very professional. Whenever I ask for help on anything I am promptly seen to and any problem is sorted out. Unlike the 2 care homes my wife has been in prior to this the Management actually listen and talk to you instead of down to you. The whole atmosphere is one of caring.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're truly grateful for your feedback and are so pleased to hear that you've felt supported and listened to. Creating a caring and respectful environment is at the heart of what we do, and it's wonderful to know that it's made a difference for you and your wife.

Mum seems happy most of the time although she does have her favourite carers 95% of the carers are amazing with all residents. We have had a few issues regarding laundry and personal care. My mother seems happy enough with living there. We have had a few issues over clothes and personal belongings going from Mum's room. She's also had quite a few bruises and skin tears over the last year some of which I feel could have been avoided with a bit better care.
