As my mother was only in for less than two weeks before she passed away, I cannot comment fully, but my mother was treated with dignity and kindness and so was my family and nothing was too much trouble.
The last weeks of his life were amongst lovely, caring people.
Our uncle was with you. His care was as good as could be expected and in any case, far better than that received in our local NHS hospital.
Mum was frail and no longer able to manage in a residential care home. She moved to Hinckley Park for nursing. She received good care, the condition of her skin etc improved, but the overwhelming memory of the last 6 months of her life was the kindness and responsiveness of staff. The whole ethos of the home, from the management down through all staff os one of kindness and calm.
Friendly staff and always clean and tidy. Dad was very settled as soon as he came here. He was put on end of life care before he was admitted and I believe that due to the home and staff we had another year of love and laughter with him.
I will be eternally grateful to Hinckley Park for the love and care they showed my dad and our family. They also looked after us and made his passing a lot less painful. Excellent support.
A very friendly people orientated home with excellent staff and facilities.
I attended the Christmas fayre to visit my friend and the atmosphere was amazing, singing Elvis was the King on the cake. The staff were attentive and the manager was in the centre of all the activities.
I find that all of the staff are very nice and pleasant.
Had a fantastic time at the Christmas fare. Was so nice to see all the residents enjoying themselves and the staff interacting with them singing and dancing. It was a great atmosphere.
Clean and efficiently run home. Very welcoming to its guests and it is evident that residents are well looked after.
Staff involved and including residents and their visitors.
Great fun had by all.
My mother has been a resident at Hinckley Park Care Home for two months now. The care home is fantastic, beautifully presented, clean and very modern. Im particularly impressed with the staff who clearly have nothing more than the resident's utmost happiness and wellbeing as a priority. What I find most heartwarming is the laughter and fun the residents enjoy, it is truly a home from home, as nothing is ever too much trouble for visitors and residents alike. My mum has told me she loves it and wants to stay! What can be better for a relative than that endorsement?
The staff at Hinckley park made the admission process very easy and definitely went the extra mile to help there - which was very much appreciated. They also took great care of mum during her time here. The room was very nice and the attitudes of staff and the local doctor the home uses was very uplifting and professional... you're doing a great job.
I can't really comment on the activities as mum never got to try those but everything else could not be better.
Thanks everyone, I am so glad we found the right place for her.
My mother-in-law needs respite care, and everyone has done their very best to make her admission to Hinckley Park as smooth and trouble-free as possible. The manager and staff were extremely helpful in the move from her hospital placement. The Care Home looks to be very pleasant and comfortable, just what she needs. The staff seem to approach their duties with a smile. She has not partaken in activities yet, nor checked out all of the facilities, but I'm sure they'll be Good if not Excellent.
If I ever require the use of a care home myself, I hope its this one.
Care is excellent, very helpful and polite. Very good food which my husband enjoys, help is always on hand when needed.
I cannot thank the staff enough for the standard of care and the compassion they showed my mother in her last days. They took care of me as well with a smile and a kind word or a drink. They worked together as a team and it was obvious that they really wanted to give my mother as much dignity and support as they could. Even the admin staff remembered mine and my mother's name, and offered me a drink and a chat. The food was really good and if mum didn't fancy what was on offer something was always found as an alternative. I will not hesitate to recommend Hinckley Park.
Mum came out of hospital and was unable to look after herself. Hinckley Park staff were outstanding in looking after not only her needs, but her mental state. She was anxious and confused after her fall and had lost her confidence. 4 weeks later what a difference. Fabulous.
The home was perfect for Mom. She had privacy, independence and entertainment when she wanted it. The care was second to none and the carers amazing. Than you for making Mom's last days memorable.
My wife has been here almost two years, and the first 18 months was below standard for the money I was paying. But since then it has improved quite a lot and is much better. The care workers have improved bar from weekends, when there are only two on which is not enough for 16 people. The home itself is much better since the refurbishment and alterations have been finished which gives it a better outlook.
There is an adequate level of staff on within the home to meet the care needs of the current residents, the home is staffed as a whole and not to a floor. The care is now maintained to a high standard and we are pleased that improvements in all areas has been noted.
