My mother was in Altham Court in Lincoln I cannot really describe how well she was looked after as all the staff treated her well. I visited her every day and staff and management always answered any questions I put to them and also grew fond of us both and we visit them frequently still, we love them all.

My mum has settled very well into Altham Court.
All the staff are amazing with her and always ensure that she has what she needs especially with foods as she loves her jaffa cakes and crackers, so if not wanting a main meal she is offered her favourites.
The home is beautiful and clean and I am always made welcome whenever I visit.

Well done to a brilliant team and thank you.

Mum had to spend time here for convalescence with Osteoporosis. The home was very clean, warm and comfortable. Staff friendly and obliging. Mum's stay covered the festive period and the staff made it as special as possible with carol singing, festive food, costumes and decorations. Any 'niggles' were dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Given my fragility, including vertigo, when I was discharged from hospital, I came to Altham court with no knowledge of what to expect.

However, I have experienced support from all staff, both functionally and empathically, with the highest level of care and compassion.

Arrived as usual late afternoon, still met with smiles and efficiency. Booked into a room well presented and totally adequate for my needs. All staff were friendly and welcoming although late in the day for them. Facilities are good and well looked after. Food and drinks are plentiful, well cooked with a good variety. At this point cannot find fault. Any problems seem to be handled quickly without fuss.

Review from D B (Sister of Resident) published on 2 June 2017 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience
Altham Court responded with care and efficiency when I phoned to request a space for my 90-year-old sister, who was to be discharged from the hospital with care at home twice a day. She had broken vertebra and existing spinal problems and she was worried about her safety and mobility, so was I.
The staff at Altham Court arranged a swift assessment and my sister went there later the same day. Her room was comfy, nursing care and particularly admin staff were thoughtful and welcoming.

The stay there meant that my sister left much more confident to go into a respite situation that she had been in before nearer her home.

Overall Experience

My mother broke her pelvis and needed care until fit to return home. As a parish priest, I visit many care homes in the course of my duties so when faced with the choice, I immediately thought of Altham Court Care Home. The leadership ensures all staff are conscious of the importance of treating residents as individuals and with dignity. The rooms are well designed, not glamorous, but that leaves room for resident's items. The smell is of chemical cleanliness, at worst, which is much better than most and cleanliness and maintenance is a high priority. There are a wide range of activities and a wonderful setting where people can sit outside in safety.

Overall Experience
My mother spent her last two weeks before passing away at Altham Court.
The care that was provided by the staff was extremely good. She was treated with dignity and kindness.
A staff member was always on hand to talk to about any concerns with my mother.

I know for the last two weeks of her life, she was happy there and that in itself means a lot.

Overall Experience

Following admission to Altham Court in April 2016 for a period of respite, my mother's placement was made permanent later in the year due to her complex medical needs. I cannot fault the care she receives and having immediate access to nurses who are on the premises 24/7 is vital. My mother settled in very quickly and now considers Altham Court her "home". She is treated with kindness, courtesy and dignity and I have peace of mind knowing this. I can visit anytime I wish and there is always a member of staff available should I have any concerns.
