Overall Experience

My mother has been at St Andrew's since July 2017 and I can not speak highly enough of the love and care she has received during that time. I am sure that the time that she has spent there has enhanced and increased the time that she has had left to her.

That care was also extended to myself and family members who visited her.

Sadly, she passed away on Monday 10th July and the care we all received during the final days of her life was second to none.

I would like to congratulate St Andrew's on the calibre of all the staff who work there and thank them all for their hard work and commitment to their residents.

Overall Experience

A converted vicarage with modern extension a few miles from Sleaford. Consists of a variety of rooms, with a variety of facilities, all pleasantly decorated. Food of good quality, frequent tea trolley with biscuits! Staff treat patients with warmth and care, a chat with various residents confirms this from their perspectives. A selection of activities arranged for the residents over the last year of so include a visit to the parrot zoo, Christmas carols by children from a local school, an annual garden fete, a handful of singers of varying genres, a wildlife enthusiast with a curious collection of animals (including meerkats), and quizzes. It would be nice if the residents could have the garden enclosed in the summer, as at present the drive and parking for the home runs through it, making it unusable for my father who would wander off. Phone calls at any time are welcomed to allay worries, visits also. Dog visits seem to be welcome, and most residents like this.
