My 91 year old mother in law went into Homer Lodge for transitional care a few weeks ago. She then went home but had to go back into Homer Lodge when she became very poorly and there she stayed and received end of life care. She told the staff she was happy, very comfortable and loved. We cannot...
My 91 year old mother in law went into Homer Lodge for transitional care a few weeks ago. She then went home but had to go back into Homer Lodge when she became very poorly and there she stayed and received end of life care. She told the staff she was happy, very comfortable and loved. We cannot praise the staff enough for their kindness to both her and us at this very difficult time. The staff were helpful, kind, compassionate and always pleasant in their attitude to us all and went out of their way to make us feel welcome when we visited. The food was amazing, the rooms fresh, clean and bright, she was always in fresh, clean laundered clothes and her every need both nursing and caring, were met with first class professionalism. Although the outcome was a sad one we could not have got through it so well if it had not been for the staff at Homer Lodge. A huge thank you to each and everyone of the staff. You are the best.
