Overall good. Sometimes care is lacking, for example, no socks or slippers on residents' feet who are sat for a long time and cannot put them on themselves. Or hair not combed or a drink left in front of them to get cold. Just little things like that, that make all the difference.
Thank you for you review of Toray Pines. We are saddened to hear you have found some aspects of care lacking as we strive to consistently provide the quality care our residents deserve. To this end, I have passed your comments on to the home manager who will look into the points you have raised and invite you to meet with him to discuss this matter. Kind Regards.
My dad likes his routines and is unsettled when this routine changes in any way, like going for respite. However, he settled seamlessly into Toray Pines Care Home, received outstanding personal, medical and homely care and returned home talking about how much he had enjoyed his stay.
The carers are lovely, the food is lovely and the staff are happy meaning the residents are happy. The manager and his staff run a fabulous home with ease. Highly recommended! Thank you for a stress-free week, we would love to return.
Thank you for your fabulous review of Toray Pines. We are delighted you are happy with the care and support and we thank you for entrusting us with the care of your dad. I will pass your comments on to the team who will be overjoyed.
The manager was so helpful from the first phone call. He reassured us and assisted us making the move go smoothly as not to unsettle my mother.
Since she arrived, she has undergone proper assessments for her needs, has a lovely room and most importantly, started to come out of herself again. She is totally different to how she was before.
The home is clean, well presented and so friendly and welcoming.
We get a monthly call to check we are happy with her care and this is a great way of keeping up to date with things, plus they are straight on the phone if any issues arise.
So I would whole heartedly recommend this home - the staff are wonderful and caring and it's the best move we have made.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review for our Toray Pines Care Home in Coningsby. We are delighted you are so happy with the care and support provided by the home and will pass your comments on to the team, who will be thrilled to read your thoughts.
My wife has only been here for a few days. Her room at first looked very plain and bare but once we had a few of her own things in, like TV, photos, cushions etc. it was much easier. The staff have all been very helpful and considerate. Food choice and appearance, taste etc. is also excellent. This is our first dealing with care homes and this one is first-rate.
Thank you for your review of Toray Pines, we are delighted you have found the experience a positive one. We thank you for choosing Toray Pines, it is a lovely care home with a wonderful community and we are happy your lovely wife is settling in so well.
The staff were very accommodating and provided a week's respite care at short notice. We found the staff very caring and helpful. The rooms are of a high standard and the meals appeared to be nutritious and plentiful. We wouldn't hesitate to use the home's facilities in the future. Only one negative observation - no TV in the room. In other homes we've used, a TV was always provided.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review of Toray Pines. We are delighted you found the home caring and the meals and rooms to a high standard. I will pass your comments in relation to the TV to the manager, who I am sure will resolve this matter. Again many thanks for your thoughtful recommendation.
Excellence throughout.
We did an initial visit to Toray Pines and were immediately impressed by the professionalism of the manager, he is caring and excellent and replying to emails and communicating. The home is always clean and extremely well maintained and the staff are considerate, kind and industrious. I have had meals with my mum in their dining room and the food and selection of dishes are lovely. The activities are very good for the residents as are the events days throughout the year. The dining room always looks lovely with the placemats and napkins set out.
It is a pleasure to leave a review of Toray Pines. The two years Mum spent there were excellent. The staff did a fabulous job rehabilitating her when she arrived, caring for her at her best and worst. Then making her comfortable and dignified in her final days. In two years, I never met a member of staff that wasn't compassionate, kind and organised. Hats off to the whole team for their exceptional diligence. If you can get into Toray Pines, you will not be disappointed.
The staff have cared for my mother over her final six weeks of life and have been very understanding and attentive to all of her needs. I cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness to her and our family.
I have found all the staff to be very helpful and friendly when visiting my dad. They all think a lot of him. They often get him involved in daily activities. A warm welcome.
Thank you for your review of Toray Pines. We will pass your comments on to the team, who will be delighted.
Every member of staff has been polite, kind and helpful. Nothing has been too much trouble and all my questions have been dealt with.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review of Toray Pines, it is a wonderful care home. I will pass your kind comments on to the team - thank you.
My sister is well looked after and even the moans about her bad stomach for over 58 years have gone away. Good communications if any changes in my sister's condition have occurred. Very clean and tidy. The staff are very professional and caring.
Thank you for your review of Toray Pines - I will pass your comments to the team who will be happy to read your thoughtful words.
A fantastic care home so far, although we only just brought my partner's sister here today from Somerset. The staff were so helpful and soon made us feel part of this special place.
Thank you for taking the time to write your review of Toray Pines. The team will be delighted to read your lovely comments about the service. Thank you.
Sadly my mother was only at Toray Pines two months before she passed away. She settled quickly and enjoyed the company of other residents, having lived alone for a number of years. I cannot fault the care Mum received and she was always treated with respect and dignity. I would not hesitate to recommend Toray Pines to others.
Thank you for your lovely review of Toray Pines and for taking the time to share your thoughts. I will pass your comments on to the team who will be delighted.
I have been here for a few months now and I am happy here. Everyone is very helpful and kind to us residents. I don't want to go anywhere else.
Thank you for your kind review, the team at Toray Pines will be delighted to know you are happy with the service.
I would be extremely happy to be a resident here. I find the staff to be caring and helpful; they are patient with residents and visitors. Nothing is too much trouble.
Thank you very much for your kind review - I will pass your comments on to the team who will be delighted.
My mum originally went into respite and is now a permanent resident. From the first day my sister and I went to view the home, we have been so impressed. Mum went in as she was not really coping at home, she has not looked as happy and healthy as she does now for some time. The care and attention is first class. She is partially sighted and was worried about being able to do the activities but no worries there, the entertainment team took this into consideration and she has done some amazing things since she has been there. In summary, a very happy mum and family, cannot stress enough that it was the right decision. All staff are so dedicated to the care of each individual, they know everyone by name, it’s a pleasure to visit mum and see her so happy and settled.
Thank you very much for your lovely review of Toray Pines and for taking the time to write such a thoughtful statement - the team will be absolutely delighted to hear of your comments.
From the first phone call to the home, my sister and I were invited to visit and see for ourselves. The first impressions were the friendly caring staff and management. With the cleanliness and warm caring feel of the home, we felt no negativity at all. Once Mum was there, the change in her was so noticeable - she's so much better, interacting with everyone. Nothing is too much trouble and all the staff are wonderful. Can't fault the home at all.
Thank you for your wonderful review of Toray Pines. We appreciate your comments and will pass them on to the team at the home, who will be delighted.
The staff were friendly, kind and professional, both to the patient and to me. Some options were not applicable as I was not there long enough.
Helpful, friendly staff and a clean environment - thank you.
