My initial impressions were those of a spotlessly clean home which was bright and well maintained. The staff were welcoming, well informed and always cheerful. My father was always made to feel special and he was full of praise for their attention to detail and always having time for a ‘natter’.
I
live over a three-hour drive away and found that I could telephone at any time and ask to speak to my father or that there would someone there who could tell me how he was getting along. This was invaluable for my peace of mind particularly when his health began to fail. His end of life care coincided with the pandemic and I will be eternally grateful for the sensitivity shown at this time as I couldn’t travel.
In my opinion, my father was given a quality of life he might not have enjoyed elsewhere and I will always be indebted to the staff who were tireless in the professional and compassionate care they extended to my Dad, their kindness will always be appreciated and never forgotten.

From the moment my parents were admitted to Toray Pines, they were treated as part of the family. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are caring, loving and empathetic. I cannot rate this home highly enough. During her last days, Mum was struggling and the staff rallied around her. Nothing
is too much trouble for the Manager who always kept me updated with changes in Mum's health. I don’t have enough space to describe my admiration and gratitude to the earthly angels in Toray Pines. To the two ladies who sat with her as she breathed her last breath, I salute you both. Nobody could have done more and I will never forget your gift, to Mum, of the yellow rose and how beautifully she was dressed. Dad loves living at Toray Pines and speaks of the staff with affection. He struggles to mobilise and the staff are constantly reminding him, in such kind ways, to use his walker. God Bless you all at Toray Pines.

Excellent care home, beautifully decorated and maintained, and with a truly outstanding staff team. Care and compassion are shown through every element of daily life, patient's dignity and respect are always maintained, and staff strive to go above and beyond. During the challenges of the Covid Pandemic,
they have adapted, supported and ensured we could maintain ties with our relatives through phone calls, video calls and email updates. I would recommend Toray Pines without hesitation, and will always be grateful for the care shown not only to my nan but to me also.

My father has been here since February this year after an operation. I cannot praise the staff enough; they have worked wonders with my father, friends and family that have visited him whilst they were able before the lockdown. I cannot believe how well he looks and how happy he is. I do not know what
magic they have, but his quality of life has improved 100%.

Cannot fault any member of staff. All helpful and considerate. Allow patient dignity and comfort. Contacted when necessary and swiftly. Don't get frustrated when ones are difficult and deal with falls etc., very quickly and professionally. Cannot be more satisfied, apart from 'things' going missing!

We are more than happy with the residential home my uncle is in. The staff are all very helpful. We have not met anyone who isn’t committed to helping the residents. The home is warm and very clean. The staff are always cleaning and making the home smell lovely and welcoming. We visit the home very
regularly and we are always greeted warmly by the staff.
My uncle is clean and very well fed, he loves his food and has absolutely no complaints at all.
If we ever ask anything of the staff, our requests are taken care of as soon as they can.
It’s just a lovely friendly care home.

Toray Pines is a beautiful care home, so well managed by the manager and her team, it is home from home for the residents. The carers are so helpful, nothing is too much trouble, and they are always cheerful. The home is always clean and tidy, with no unwanted smells. Lots of activities and games, not
to forget the theme teas like 'tastes of India'. The one thing I must say is when I go home after visiting my wife I have no worries, I know she will be well looked after and safe.

My mother, a dementia sufferer, has resided in a private room at Toray Pines since October 2017; since her arrival, she has always been treated with dignity and respect, whilst being supported to retain as much independence as possible. The residents' rooms are well appointed and have recently been
redecorated, recarpeted and refurbished, adding to their ambience, comfort and facilities; additionally, the residents' main lounge and dining room have also been refitted.
The staff at all levels are committed to their guests and, as they say, work in the residents' home; all go the extra mile to ensure that residents' needs are met in full - no matter how demanding that resident might be. My mother can't speak highly enough about the staff and the care and support they provide her - and she is also always extremely complimentary about the food provided. The activities coordinator merits special mention for her efforts to motivate and occupy the residents.
In sum, well done to all!

I felt I had to compliment this care provider for the amazing job they do. Not only are the surroundings beautifully kept but the overall standards of upkeep are wonderful. The staff have such a rapport with the residents and each are treated very much as an individual and their dignity is always kept.
The help and support that not only did our family member get but we as a family were advised and helped with the transition too. Their dedication to providing home from home, love and superb food goes beyond what we ever expected from a residential home. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care provider and have already done so!

Ninety-five percent of the time the staff do their utmost to help, comfort and make the lives of the residents as near to their home environment as they can.
They are always cheerful and respectful of the residents, sometimes in difficult circumstances.
If I was in similar circumstances as the majority
of the residents I would without question apply myself to be able to call Toray Pines my home.

My parents were admitted on 11/8/16 for respite care and we cannot speak highly enough of all the staff at Toray Pines. I wish in particular to mention the activity manager who has been absolutely marvellous. She has communicated with me whenever we have contacted her, she has gone above and beyond
to help our family at what has been a very stressful time. She is a true credit to this establishment and I cannot speak highly enough of her.

My mother has been in Toray Pines for 15 years. I all that time, she her sister and friends have been treated with utmost care and love. The staff and home staff has changed over the years, which has always been managed with little disruption to residents. As and when, if as a family we have any reason
to speak to matron or management there has always been total professionalism throughout. My mother is a fine example of a well managed caring home. Excellent food/facilities.

The care given to my cousin who has severe dementia is of a good standard. Her needs are taken care of in a dignified way. The surroundings i.e décor and layout are extremely pleasing. The menu daily is of a high standard, with a good varied choice. Cleanliness is superb.
