White Gables is a purpose-built single-storey nursing home set on the outskirts of Skellingthorpe, a village just three miles west of Lincoln. White Gables accepts residents who are privately funded, funded by the local authority, or funded through the Integrated Care Board (ICB) where nursing or healthcare funding is approved.

For residents funded through the local authority, a third-party top-up will be required, depending on individual circumstances. This can be discussed in more detail during the enquiry and assessment process.

Private fees typically range from £1,300 to £1,400 per week, depending on the bedroom selected and the level of care and support required and resident complexities. Fees are determined following a pre-admission assessment, which helps establish each resident’s individual care needs and any associated complexities.

Please note that hairdressing, chiropody services and personal toiletries are not included within the weekly fee and may incur additional separate charges, which can be paid when and if required via personal allowances.

Excellent care home in every way: clean, welcoming, good nutritious food, but most of all, the kindest most caring care staff you could hope for. My Father is very content ar White Gables and refers to is as "home". Special mention to all staff and for taking Dad out for the afternoon. Exceptional. Thank you all.

Even though it took my mum a little time to settle last year, she has now, and overall has a really good relationship with the staff and carers.

I have always been very satisfied with the care which my Mum receives. I always find the staff helpful and approachable and if I do have any issues I wish to discuss there is always someone available to speak to. My Mum has issues with refusing food and drink and I find everyone always does their best to encourage her as much as they can.

I spent a very pleasant few hours in the newly furnished lounge to celebrate the opening of the area. Excellent entertainment enjoyed by the residents and visitors together with a light buffet and drinks.

My mum came into White Gables after being discharged from hospital. She had vascular dementia and Alzheimers so wasn't able to do much but the staff here were wonderful with her and treated her with respect and care. She was only here 6 days before she passed away but they made her very comfortable and were very caring.

The home is very clean and doesn't have the smell that some homes have.

My experience of White Gables Care Home in the past 6 months since my wife became a resident, is that adequate staff are available and experienced to deal with the many different requirements of residents with respect and dignity. I have not had occasion to make any complaint but only request to enquire about my wife's condition and ongoing care has been met satisfactorily.

During the month of June, Dad had a fall and unfortunately had to go to A&E due to having banged his head. Although he was lucky enough to be back in the care home by lunch time, it made us realise even more how grateful we are to all the staff for looking after him so well.

Our mum was privileged to be with you only a few weeks before she died. We were very impressed with your home. The professionalism of all the staff, how smart they looked, how friendly they were. How accommodating to our needs. We wished we had known about you much earlier.

My dad had been in three care homes before finding White Gables. He was treated really badly in the past and it was extremely important that I found a caring care home for him. I asked around and got varying reviews but I have to say that White Gables was excellent. The decor is not fancy but the staff were cheerful and very caring and kind. Sometimes things did go wrong but, in my opinion, it's the way things were handled and sorted out that mattered and White Gables were helpful and did their best. My dad sadly passed away but I feel his end of life care was excellent and compassionate. I would, and have, recommended White Gables as an excellent care home.

Thank you.

All the staff from the management side, nurses, carers, catering and cleaning are all very kind and caring. Nothing is too much trouble. I am confident that my Mum could not get any better care than she is getting in what at times must be very difficult circumstances. I feel very lucky that my Mum is in White Gables Care Home.

Mum's overall condition has improved so much since we moved her to Skellingthorpe. The care is so well suited to dementia sufferers and we have found staff kind and attentive to the family as well as residents. Mum's personal hygiene has improved dramatically and White Gables is very clean and uplifting. There are lots of things going on to help prevent boredom and depression. Rooms are very pleasant and outside areas.

Day Care: Excellent care for residents and also most of the staff are caring of families of the residents and are made very welcome.
Night Care: Satisfactory could do with more than sitting in front of the T.V.
Laundry Service needs to improve (maybe night staff could help with ironing).
Domestic Service: Excellent home, is always very clean and smells fresh and looks clean and homely.

Activities could do with a little more action for residents.
