Open Visiting: Daily from 09:00 AM to 6:00 PM
No booking is required for general visits.
If a resident is unwell, receiving end-of-life care, or under infection control measures, please call ahead so the team can support your visit safely.
🧼 Infection Control
Hand sanitiser is available at the entrance – please use it on arrival and departure.
Visitors are asked not to attend if they are feeling unwell or have any symptoms of infection (e.g. cold, flu, diarrhoea).
🪑 Where You Can Visit
Visits can take place in residents’ rooms, communal lounges, or the garden (weather permitting).
The team encourage meaningful interaction – bringing photos, music, or small treats is welcome!
🧒 Children and Pets
Children are very welcome under adult supervision.
Well-behaved pets may visit by prior arrangement with management.

Please sign in and out at reception on arrival and departure.
The front door is monitored for safety; a member of staff will assist with entry and exit.

It is the aim of all White Gables staff to ensure that a high standard of care is given, regardless of the time of day, the Home Manager makes regular night checks at various times of the night and receives feedback from visitors in the home during out of hour’s periods. The Home Manager, along with the Nurses in charge at night will ensure that all staff are undertaking their job role professionally and that the care of the Residents is delivered appropriately and in line with company policies and expectations. Night staff are responsible for ensuring that bedding, towels etc. are washed and ready for use during the night, ironing is the responsibility of the laundry staff.
The activities coordinators provide a mix of activities consisting of highly visible group activities which are programmed together with less visible 1-1 activities for residents who are unable to participate in group events. The activities staff are always open to suggestions from relatives and residents for activities that may offer different challenges to an individual.
