Sibbertoft Manor is a family run Nursing Home near Market Harborough. They have a fantastic care team who genuinely care about the residents, ensuring they are getting the best person centred care and maintaining their independence. They have very low levels of staff turnover, never utilising agency staff, meaning residents really get to know all of the staff on a personal level and generates a true "family feel".

The home has a full-time activities calendar focusing on keeping residents active and engaged. The beautiful grounds include a paved woodland walk and manicured gardens for residents to enjoy in good weather. They have maintained an elegant family feel within an impressive Manor House setting, whilst also having all of the expected amenities of a modern Nursing Home. Residents are also active in the community, making regular trips into Market Harborough, the village Church, attending school plays and hosting Open Days and village fetes.

They are independently owned and Nurse run, meaning that residents' wellbeing is always put before generating profits, whilst also ensuring they are fully compliant with CQC, helping to build on their current "Good" rating (July 2023).

Since admission to the home in early 2014, my mum received excellent standards of care and living attention by all the staff at Sibbertoft.
As her illness increasingly took over in more recent times, she was treated with the utmost dignity and respect. We appreciate especially the help and care given
in her last moments.
The gardens and facilities are excellent and the events created for the residents' benefit are all very thoughtful and appropriate. Difficult to improve on that.

My mother was well looked after and was treated with kindness and respect. The home is lovely. It is clean and beautifully furnished within lovely grounds. On top of the excellent carers, the surroundings made my mother's life the best it could be given her condition.

Outstanding in every respect. My mother is very happy. Fantastic care by hard working and caring staff. Lovely surrounding and spotlessly clean in the home. Excellent rooms.

My aunt, aged 95, died in Sibbertoft Manor of old age. She was wonderfully cared for and loved by the staff. Her bed was moved so she could see the sun, she was hand fed and kept so beautifully. The care home staff were generous, kind and caring in terms of my aunt - to me, they were thoughtful, communicative
and extremely competent in an inclusive way.

This is a first class nursing care home. Standards of care, food, hygiene all excellent. Most noticeable is the almost zero staff turnover, meaning that the staff bond with the residents and this leads to a much higher level of care and satisfaction for both partners.

Having tried to place my father in law in a number of nursing homes unsuccessfully due to dementia and associated physical issues, Sibbertoft was a good find. They were patient and considerate and after some months Dad was able to feel secure enough to sleep in a bed at night.

Very pleased with all aspects of this nursing home. All of the staff are very caring and attentive. Senior staff and management went out of their way to make sure we were kept up to date and all aspects of my aunt's care was discussed with me when necessary. Any queries we had were addressed quickly
and I always felt my aunt was cared with dignity and compassion.

My gran only had sixteen days at Sibbertoft Manor before she died but the care and attention she received was always to the highest level! The matron is amazing and a holistic individualised care plan is in place very quickly.
All the staff are welcoming, friendly, caring, knowledgeable and very efficient.
When she was dying, the end of life package was put in place and the staff did everything they could to ensure that as relatives we were supported at all times.
They cared for her and ensured her dignity and her wishes were always carried out. The care she had was excellent and she had a peaceful, pain-free death.
Sibbertoft Manor is outstanding in every way.

My mother's greatest fear was having to go into a care home. When the time came she felt very fortunate to find a place at Sibbertoft Manor. Apart from being a lovely setting, the ethos of the home was exactly what she was looking for. She quickly felt it was her 'home', where she found many friends
to look after her. She greatly enjoyed the many trips out and valued her independence to be able to eat in the dining room or her own room and to participate in the activities that suited her. Her last 2 1/2 years at Sibbertoft Manor were very happy - she was never lonely and often said that she had too much to do - not bad at 104! I do not believe that she could have had better care, especially in the last 2 months when she was very ill. Even in her last few days, she was still saying how lucky she was to be there - with so much love and care.

We were very impressed when we visited Sibbertoft to have Christmas lunch with my mother-in-law. We discovered that the Matron provides an enhanced level of staffing from the beginning of the day so that visitors can be welcomed and provided with refreshments with their family member. We were looked
after well, the lunch was good, the cook checked with us to make sure we had enjoyed our meal and my mother-in-law enjoyed her day.

My mother was cared for during the last three months of her life. I have found everyone working there to be interested and involved in the residents and their care. Nothing is too much trouble. I felt free to make any requests people went to a lot of trouble to ensure a personal caring approach.
Each member of staff Matron, Nurses, Carers, Activity coordinators, Office staff, Housekeeping, Gardeners were kind and courteous.
Meals are cooked on the premises, to a very high standard with individual wishes being catered for.
There are daily activity coordinators and entertainers come in as well. For those who are able, there are organised trips and individual trips can be arranged. The gardens are a truly stunning and a colourful, peaceful, place for residents and visitors to enjoy. Residents are encouraged to spend time in the garden and can sit under shade-giving canopies with a cool drink and a staff member always present.
I cannot recommend Sibbertoft Manor highly enough.

This is a very well-run, caring home and I am very happy that my Mother is there rather than anywhere else. The staff have nearly all been there for years. It's a kind, homely place. The Matron, is excellent. I trust them all with my Mother's care and they have never disappointed me. We are all

Paula trained as a nurse in 2010 and worked in Canterbury as a District Nurse before moving to Leicestershire. For 5 years she worked as a Community Nurse in Market Harborough. Paula’s work in the community sparked her passion for delivering high-quality care to the elderly and so she made the transition from community nursing to work in a local nursing home. Paula worked as a Deputy Manager for 14 months before joining Sibbertoft Manor in January 2021. Paula, brings with her a wealth of clinical experience, strong links with local community nurses and a commitment to providing the best quality care to all our residents.
