Having tried to place my father in law in a number of nursing homes unsuccessfully due to dementia and associated physical issues, Sibbertoft was a good find. They were patient and considerate and after some months Dad was able to feel secure enough to sleep in a bed at night.

Very pleased with all aspects of this nursing home. All of the staff are very caring and attentive. Senior staff and management went out of their way to make sure we were kept up to date and all aspects of my aunt's care was discussed with me when necessary. Any queries we had were addressed quickly and I always felt my aunt was cared with dignity and compassion.

My gran only had sixteen days at Sibbertoft Manor before she died but the care and attention she received was always to the highest level! The matron is amazing and a holistic individualised care plan is in place very quickly.
All the staff are welcoming, friendly, caring, knowledgeable and very efficient. When she was dying, the end of life package was put in place and the staff did everything they could to ensure that as relatives we were supported at all times.
They cared for her and ensured her dignity and her wishes were always carried out. The care she had was excellent and she had a peaceful, pain-free death.

Sibbertoft Manor is outstanding in every way.

My mother's greatest fear was having to go into a care home. When the time came she felt very fortunate to find a place at Sibbertoft Manor. Apart from being a lovely setting, the ethos of the home was exactly what she was looking for. She quickly felt it was her 'home', where she found many friends to look after her. She greatly enjoyed the many trips out and valued her independence to be able to eat in the dining room or her own room and to participate in the activities that suited her. Her last 2 1/2 years at Sibbertoft Manor were very happy - she was never lonely and often said that she had too much to do - not bad at 104! I do not believe that she could have had better care, especially in the last 2 months when she was very ill. Even in her last few days, she was still saying how lucky she was to be there - with so much love and care.

We were very impressed when we visited Sibbertoft to have Christmas lunch with my mother-in-law. We discovered that the Matron provides an enhanced level of staffing from the beginning of the day so that visitors can be welcomed and provided with refreshments with their family member. We were looked after well, the lunch was good, the cook checked with us to make sure we had enjoyed our meal and my mother-in-law enjoyed her day.

Overall Experience
My mother was cared for during the last three months of her life. I have found everyone working there to be interested and involved in the residents and their care. Nothing is too much trouble. I felt free to make any requests people went to a lot of trouble to ensure a personal caring approach. Each member of staff Matron, Nurses, Carers, Activity coordinators, Office staff, Housekeeping, Gardeners were kind and courteous.
Meals are cooked on the premises, to a very high standard with individual wishes being catered for.
There are daily activity coordinators and entertainers come in as well. For those who are able, there are organised trips and individual trips can be arranged. The gardens are a truly stunning and a colourful, peaceful, place for residents and visitors to enjoy. Residents are encouraged to spend time in the garden and can sit under shade-giving canopies with a cool drink and a staff member always present.

I cannot recommend Sibbertoft Manor highly enough.

I have been very impressed with the standard of care for my auntie at Sibbertoft Manor over the past three years. My father-in-law has recently become a resident there as well, and my wife and I are confident that he will be well looked after.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Sibbertoft Nursing and Care Home for nearly three years. My husband and I have only the highest praise for the nursing home and their staff, for whom nothing is too much trouble. I would readily recommend the home to anyone.

I have been taking my wife to Sibbertoft Manor for respite breaks, every twelve weeks or so, since April 2012. She is always greeted warmly by cheerful staff, and I am comfortable in the knowledge that she is looked after well.

This is a very well-run, caring home and I am very happy that my Mother is there rather than anywhere else. The staff have nearly all been there for years. It's a kind, homely place. The Matron, is excellent. I trust them all with my Mother's care and they have never disappointed me. We are all going on an outing to a bird sanctuary next week.
