My mother-in-law is very happy at the Beeches. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you have everything you want and the care is outstanding.
Food is wonderful and lots of entertainment for those who want it. Every effort is made to make sure relatives, as well as residents, are happy.

I have found my stay at The Beeches to be very worthwhile. I came here at a low ebb, healthwise and have improved 100%. The staff are wonderfully kind and attentive. The food delicious and the surroundings clean and pleasant.

Very clean and tidy and always smells nice. Residents are always clean and washed and happy. Staff are very friendly and caring and willing to assist. The manager is such a lovely caring lady.

The Beeches is a bright, friendly, welcoming home. It has a homely feel while maintaining all the requirements needed to meet the various regulations. It is well organised, there are lots of activities and events residents can choose to join in with if they wish.
The staff are kind, caring, smartly
dressed in relevant uniforms according to their role. Name badges really help. They put the resident's needs first which is fantastic.

Beeches Care Home is always a pleasant place to walk into with the staff always willing to help and are polite. This home is always very clean and homely. When a problem does arise it gets taken care of and to me, the best it can be. Wouldn't want my mum anywhere else. When the weather was nice, it
would be nice if residents could get taken out more, even if it is just into the garden!

Mum was a resident at the Beeches Care HOme from May 2016. All the time she was a resident she was happy and extremely well cared for. The staff treated her as an individual and responded to her needs at all times. Her end of life care was exemplary for both mum and the family, could not be faulted.

Over the years Mum has been comfortable in the Beeches due to the commitment of all the staff to take care of my Mum. There have been changes of management over the years which has only got better.

Although my wonderful wife of over 57 years was only in the Beeches Nursing Home in Arnold, Nottingham for six days (she was on 'fast track' from hospital in Nottingham), her stay here was exceptionally memorable. The manageress and her staff catered for her every need. Our close family were made very
welcome, as we were in attendance every day, my youngest daughter and I spent the final two nights with her. Having so much support in the saddest time of our lives has left a lasting impression. So many smiles, so many memories and her passing so peaceful. Thank you all once again.

What does ‘kindness’ mean to you?


“For me, kindness means treating everyone with respect and treating everyone as an individual, being a great listener and helping people to make their own choices and not to judge people.”


Donna has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for residents.


Having worked in the care sector for many years, Donna closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every resident. She extends this caring approach to her colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Donna remarked:


“My favourite thing about being a Home Manager is to make people feel happy and to smile each day and to feel valued. I like to care for people and give them a better quality of life, while helping them retain their independence.”


Donna says her proudest achievement as Home Manager has been:


“Being able to deliver excellent care and having an excellent team working with me.”


Outside of work, Donna enjoys spending time with her family and dog, going on holiday, going out for walks and being out in the open air.
