Church Farm Nursing Home

I wish to say that I am deeply grateful for the all the staff and care giving members, for their continuous dedication and support, and whenever I have visited..

My mother has been a resident for several years with severe dementia (Alzheimers/vascular) along with other medical conditions. The team at Church Farm have supported her throughout and managed her wellbeing excellently. They are attentive and regularly update me. They have regular activities with residents to make their lives enjoyable. The nursing home environment is welcoming and has a homely feel. The food is always good quality. Nothing but praise for the Team.

No complaints on the contrary the care is excellent staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble I would recommend the nursing home any one looking for a place for a loved one I find it difficult to imagine any where better

My Mum has been with Church Farm for over a year now and she has changed so much. The previous care home couldn't cope with her level of dementia. She was aggressive and refused to see me and join in activities. Since being at Church Farm she is much less aggressive and I have more happy visits with her. She's always clean and well presented. The staff really know what they're doing and as a visitor I always get a friendly greeting. I would recommend this home highly.

Mum was a family member here for almost 4 years before passing away very recently. We were so lucky to have managed to keep here there until the end. The staff team, no matter which team, were fabulous. Always kind, compassionate and patient. There was never the word 'no' to any request and there is very much an emphasis on the resident being part of a family. Mum enjoyed many and various activities and outings while she was able.

During Mums final days, we were kept informed and included every step of the way and this helped to make the time as bearable as possible.

My dad has been at Church Farm for nearly two years, and I have been extremely impressed with the care and support he has received during this time. The staff are always kind, patient and compassionate towards my dad, and it is reassuring to know he is being so well looked after. I would thoroughly recommend Church Farm to anyone looking for a caring and supportive home for their loved one.

On the several occasions I have been in the UK to visit my dad at Church Farm I have been in complete awe with the team of wonderful people that care for him. I feel incredibly lucky that my dad is surrounded by such kind, positive and empathetic individuals and teams. The team in my dads section are so much fun and exceptionally talented. In addition to going over and above their day job of looking after everyone, they equally have time for you - they really are all superstars and deserve the recognition for what they do each day. I think all the reviews on this home are testament to this - how each team member makes a difference, each day to the residents, relatives and each other. Thank you for making each visit special and if the world had more people like them in it would be a wonderful place.

From the moment my father moved into the care home, I have been deeply impressed by the exceptional standard of care provided. Caring for someone living with dementia requires patience, compassion, and expertise, and the team consistently demonstrates all of these qualities every single day.

The warmth and kindness of the staff have made an enormous difference. They treat every resident with genuine dignity and respect, creating a welcoming and reassuring environment where individuals feel safe, valued, and understood. Their positive attitude is infectious, and they approach every challenge with professionalism, empathy, and a smile.

What stands out most is the tremendous support they provide, not only to the residents but also to their families. Communication is excellent, and the staff are always willing to listen, offer reassurance, and adapt to changing needs. Their flexibility and responsiveness gives me great confidence that my father is receiving the best possible care.

The staff at Church Farm are all brilliant and offer the best standard of care to our family. It's always a friendly and welcoming place to visit and I really believe they're one of the best care homes around. The staff go above and beyond to not just offer the best care for the residents but also to support and offer advice to their wider family. I feel reassured that my parent is in the best possible place to help them and me through the challenges of dementia. Having experienced a below-par care home previously, we're very grateful to have found Church Farm. 5 stars all round!

My mother moved to Church Farm at Cotgrave in April 2025, and from the very beginning it's felt like a place rooted in warmth, dignity, and genuine care. The staff are consistently kind, attentive, and patient, creating a home where she's not just looked after but truly known. The environment is peaceful and thoughtfully designed, with lovely enclosed gardens and familiar household spaces that help her feel settled and safe. The emphasis on meaningful daily activities has brought comfort and gentle purpose to her days. We feel incredibly grateful to have found this home.

If there were angels that is what the staff would be. You are so special.

My mum is not an easy person at times, but she always looks clean and tidy and is involved, when she allows it, in all the activities that are laid on regularly. She is encouraged with hot chocolate and treats and xmas was lovely with a singer and decorations.

All the carers are kind and caring.

Times have been very difficult for my mother in recent years, with the loss of her husband and her deteriorating mental health, she had become very aggressive and nasty to those close to her. However, since being at Church Farm from the beginning of September this year, she has shown a remarkable improvement in her behaviour and attitude, and visits to her now are pleasant instead of being something to dread. I put this down to the amazing specialist care she is receiving and would like to thank the staff wholeheartedly. I have also been very impressed with the activities that are arranged for the residents, I attended the fireworks evening, and it was a great success and lovely to see mother smiling.
