The home is always extremely clean, the staff are very helpful and polite.

Christmas Day was lovely and the lunch was excellent.

All staff very friendly and they all say 'hello' which I think is nice. And clean.

My husband has settled really well and i feel he is being treated with dignity and care. I can see an improvement with his mood. His Parkinson's and dementia are progressing. The staff listen to my concerns regarding weight loss. He has been seen by the doctor within a few days. I feel so much happier knowing he is being cared for and when I phone I am always reassured.

My beautiful mum was admitted to this wonderful care home with terminal lung cancer earlier this week. The level of care and kindness from every single member of staff is absolutely amazing. My mum won't be here for much longer but I am finding comfort knowing she is comfortable and in no pain. I recommend this lovely home for anyone who is looking for somewhere to look after themselves or a loved one. Thank you so much.

Forest Hill has a wonderful team of people, they are looking after my husband who has been extremely poorly with the best care he could get. Each day I can see his improvement. Forest Hill is everything a home should be, excellent, in all they are doing for my husband.

Very pleased with the care my father has and is still receiving. After a few weeks in hospital, on his return to Forest Hill Care Home, all the staff have gone above and beyond to make sure his recovery is smooth and stressless for not only him but the family as well. You're always greeted with happy faces from all the staff and they always have time for a chat and an update on Dad's condition. His bedroom and bathroom are always spotless as is the rest of the home. Just waiting for his health to improve so he can make use of the beautiful outside area and the many activities and day trips offered to the residents.

Placement made by the local authority, out of their normal catchment area and their choice could not have been better. It's a real home-from-home offering care which I am unable to do so and I could not have wished for a better placement.

My grandmother has been a resident at Forest Hill since the middle of 2022. As a family we have found all staff to be very friendly, kind and compassionate, going above and beyond to make sure all residents are well looked after.

I spent two hours with my mum, yesterday and left really happy. Even though the staff were extremely busy they couldn't have done enough for her, to make sure that she was comfortable and treated with great care. She looked lovely. Mum had all her best clothes on and was sitting in a brilliant all-singing, dancing chair. I supported my mum in eating her Christmas dinner, which looked and smelled fantastic. She ate loads. I just want to let everyone know that Mum is treated with genuine kindness by the staff who engage with her whenever possible even in Polish at times. Thank you from us.

shown is remarkable. I often apologise for his behaviour but they say there is no need to as it's his illness, not his fault. The contact with us is very good with regard to changes in medication, any falls he has, witnessed or unwitnessed. They always make us feel welcome when we visit Dad. Dad is always clean and respectable and I cannot do anything but sing the praises of the staff at Forest Hill.

Excellent care during illness. Care taken to hospital. All staff the full-time staff and management are excellent, very efficient and kind. Complaints were rectified quickly with agency staff. Good atmosphere in the lounge and excellent facilities for Jubilee Day, all the staff took part and it was most enjoyable for residents and families.

Avoid avoid avoid

As you are aware, Mum has been with you for over sixteen years. During this time she has had her ups and downs but I can honestly say you have always been there for her. Thanks to each and every member of staff, you've been absolutely great. We now look forward to having more contact with Mum, especially indoors. Many thanks.

My husband has been here for 13 months now. Due to COVID visiting was not allowed. I have now had a bedroom visit twice now. The staff are very caring and friendly. They made my visit very satisfying. My husband is being very well cared for which makes me very happy and content.

All the staff have been very helpful and explained the situations to me when I have asked questions. Also, they have been very welcoming too, which makes us very at ease during visiting times. I cannot thank them enough. Cannot comment on the rooms as I have not been in them yet.

My husband was admitted to Forest Hill a day before the big lockdown in March 2020. It could not have been a worse time, but the home, made every attempt to keep me and my family informed by telephone and email. Visiting, as soon as it was allowed, was organised and as frequent as possible. I like the fact that a carer accompanied him as he has trouble hearing and two meters. Sadly my husband has recently passed away, and this was very sensitively handled by the staff.

The staff are friendly and caring. Clearly knew my dad and his habits. Clean home, meals looked good. The activities are fantastic.
