The food is excellent, the activities diverse and interesting, the other residents are welcoming, and the care second to none. The only problem is finding the right time to visit her because she doesn't want to miss a thing!

Thank you very much for your beautiful comment and really appreciate sharing your experience with us. I will be sharing the feedback with the team.
can afford to employ a few more staff and focus more on the needs of residents than profit. The staff and management there are amazing and give 100% so they need to be looked after!
Thank you for your kind words, it means the world to our team to know they brought comfort and support to Dad and your family. We are honoured to have been part of his journey and are so grateful for the trust you placed in us. We appreciate your feedback. We recognise that staffing levels can...
The staff are always welcoming and cheerfull and the premises are spotlessly clean.
I don't think anyone could find a better care home for respite.
My mum has been a resident at Edingley Lodge Care Home for many 2 years and the care she receives continues to be extremely good. From the very start I have been impressed by the way the team work to ensure the residents are well cared for. The kindness shown to Mum gives me so much peace of mind. The nursing team ensure she is comfortable and pain free as much as is possible due to her many health issues. The team are always smiling and busy with projects from the entertainment side of the staff. The home is always clean and tidy and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you all.
Thank you for your kind words. I will definitely pass the message on to the team. It's a pleasure to be able to take care of your mum.
All the staff are helpful and nothing is too much trouble. My mother was particularly impressed with the carers, so patient and understanding. We would have no hesitation in recommending to others.
Thank you for the lovely review on your experience with us at Edingley Lodge. It was a pleasure to have your mum and we are glad that mum enjoyed her stay with us.
I can't speak highly enough of my stay at Edingley Lodge. Every single member of staff has been kind, caring, and very helpful. The place itself is beautiful, everywhere is spotlessly clean, and the meals are always very nice too. For anyone thinking of using Edingley Lodge, I can assure them they would be making a very wise choice.
Hi, Thank you for your honest feedback. The team will be absolutely happy to know that your stay was enjoyable and you felt cared for. Look forward to seeing you when you need help from us.
Mum has been a resident at Barchester Edingley Lodge Care Home since March this year and has settled into her new life very happily. The staff and facilities are excellent. Mum has made friends with other residents and the staff who look after her. There are many activities provided to stimulate her and keep her busy. The food is excellent and can be tailored to the individual needs of the resident. The staff are very caring and look after Mum very well. I am glad we chose this home for her.
Thank you for your valuable feedback. This means a lot to us and I will definitely pass the message to the team. We aim to create a positive experience for our residents. I would like to take this opportunity to appreciate all your effort to work with us to achieve this.
My mother is fantastically fulfilled here and this provides me with the reassurance that I need that she is being looked after to a very high standard.
I am happy to endorse Edingley to any future residents.
Thank you for your positive feedback. We will continue to aim on the high quality of care and support which cannot be achieved without your understanding and support. I would like to take this opportunity to thank your effort to provide us feedback.
However, I found all staff to be caring and showed empathy and dignity at all times. Due to poor vision and struggling with hearing, this sometimes caused confusion, occasionally a little conflict but staff are very understanding. The accommodation is excellent and homely, clean, pleasant. Plenty of activities for a large array of abilities. Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to review us, we are grateful for your kind words. It is a pleasure to look after the lovely couples. Please feel free to visit us anytime.
Nice to meet other residents that are here. The staff were very good. First-class.
Thank you very much for your feedback. We, as a team, are really glad to know you enjoyed your stay. Your comments will be shared with our team as any appreciation goes a long way.
Beautifully furnished care home. Unfortunately, I have two stomas and none of the staff had any idea how to assist me. Food too fancy for me, due to health issues, and very plain food. Lots of clothing lost, a good £100 worth.
Thank you for your comments following your most recent stay with us, we understand this is the second time this year you have stayed and we're pleased you like how the home is furnished. We're sorry to read your comments on your personal support and where you feel we didn't meet your expectations,...
Everyone has been kind, helpful and supportive. I have thoroughly enjoyed my room with the open view and great view of the sky, this has been very important to me.
Thank you for your valuable feedback and I am very glad that you enjoyed your stay with us at Edingley Lodge. I will definitely pass your comment to our team who will be very happy. I look forward to seeing you again when you need help.
(Not part of overall review - activities, good ideas but not all challenging enough for me personally).
Thank you for your valuable feedback. I will definitely pass your positive comments to the team which will enhance their positivity. We will continue to work and improve to ensure the overall experience is always at the highest standards.
My mother needed care while getting better from an illness and she was so well looked after by all of the team.
Nothing was too much trouble for them to make her stay resting and enjoyable.
The food, company and surroundings all helped to make her better, she joined in the activities and met new friends. What a superb place to be in.
Thank you for your feedback. It's been a pleasure to look after your mum for the second time. I will definitely communicate your lovely feedback to the team as it helps to enhance the positivity and encourage the team to be more active in achieving a high standard of care.
Barchester Edingley Lodge Care Home welcomed me for a three-week stay, having been in hospital. Every member of staff helped me gain independence on a daily basis with respect and wisdom. There is a real caring ethos with every staff member. I was encouraged to seek help whenever needed. The food is delicious and homely and nutritious. I received support in dealing with external medical professionals. Activity programme available. Barchester managers need to ensure staff members are higher enough at all times, one or two busy periods/
Thank you for your valuable feedback. It was a pleasure to have you here. As a team, we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us at Edingley Lodge and that you felt supported throughout the stay. I will definitely communicate with the teams to let them know your feedback and I am sure they...
The home was amazing. My mother-in-law was worried about going into respite and after two weeks stay, she was so settled she didn't want to come home. All the activities arranged she really enjoyed and the staff were just brilliant. Can't thank you enough. Coming back in June 2024.
Thank you for your review. We value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. Thank you also for your positive comments regarding our home and team who work hard to deliver high standards of quality care at all times. I will pass on your feedback to the team.
