I was in Edingley following a total hip replacement and I was very in need of care and happy to say my care was very good. The food was excellent and the staff absolutely wonderful. They work so hard. The only thing not as good as when I was in previously was the buzzer not always being answered very quickly. The staff were run off their feet with some very poorly, needy people. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and will certainly go in again when I need care.

I am very happy with the home. My mother is very happy, thanks to the staff who are lovely and friendly. The whole place is fantastic and I don't think she could be in a better place.

My mother continues to benefit from the high level of care provided at Edingley. I am confident that her complex medical needs are reviewed weekly and carefully managed. Senior staff always make time to discuss any issues arising or ongoing concerns and communication with myself is excellent. Mum benefits from opportunities to engage with a suitable peer group and encouragement to engage in daily activities. Personal alarms have recently been introduced, which provides her with additional reassurance.

Edingley Lodge is an excellent care home facility. My mother spent three weeks there following a hospital stay. She was treated with care and compassion, and all the staff were lovely. From the surroundings to the food and the entertainment, we could not fault it. We would definitely have no hesitation in recommending Edingley Lodge to our family and friends.

Overall experience good. Disappointed at lack of physiotherapy when we viewed were assured they would give that service ie. assist with walking but that didn't happen. Need more experienced staff.
Thank you for taking the time to add a review. We value feedback shared so that we can work with families to support you and continuously improve our service. We are so sorry that you shared comments on your review about the lack of physiotherapy and time from staff during your stay. If you do have...
I had a lovely stay at Barchester Edingley Lodge Care Home (respite care, two weeks). All staff were friendly and hands-on, day or night, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Housekeeping was excellent and rooms were kept spotless. My laundry was washed just as I liked it. Food was good and dining three times a day I enjoyed. Enjoyable activities daily too. I would recommend Edingly Lodge and give it ten out of ten.

It was a good experience for me as I felt total confidence with the care being offered for my mum's ten night stay and I could leave her in safe hands. All the staff are caring and paid attention to my mums needs, she was able to be quiet when she wanted to be. The food and company was also something that she enjoyed immensely as there were not many residents. It did have a feel of home about the place. It was the first time we had tried away from home and we will certainly do it again - thank you to all.

The staff at Edingley are all lovely and very caring. They were always in touch with updates and upcoming events. The care home and its facilities are like a 5-star hotel, and the food and cakes looked amazing. I would definitely recommend this home.
Thank you so much for your valuable feedback. The message will be passed on to our team.
My mum has had two recent four-week stays during which I visited frequently and thought the staff there very welcoming and highly competent. Mum's room was bright and pleasant, and the food appetizing, in a building with modern, upbeat decor in peaceful surroundings. I was very pleased indeed.

Say very comfortable. Staff excellent, very kind and attentive. Good exercise with a certain member of staff.
Thank you for your valuable comment which always helps us to improve our service and maintain a high standard. The message will be passed to the whole team.
Edingley Lodge Care Home is amazing, more like a hotel than a care home. The staff have always got time for the guests to talk to or just sit with if they need a bit of company. Everything about Edingley Lodge is top of the league; decor, care, food and activities. There is also a beautiful patio/balcony with views over the fields and to have afternoon tea under the sun shades. It's always a pleasure to walk into when I visit my friend before his game of dominoes. Many thanks to all the staff.
Thank you so much for your valuable time and comment. It means a lot to the team here at Edingley Lodge. It's always been a pleasure to see you and talk to you.
