I would not recommend this home to anybody. They have no time for the residents or visitors. It smells of urine, beds are never made, residents are unkempt, ie. sitting in the lounge with toothpaste everywhere. Towels are tatty, rooms are not clean to the standard they should be.

Reply from Kelly Cox, Service Manager at Nottingham Brain Injury and Neurological Care Centre

Thank you for your review, however, it is disappointing you feel this way. Our team have worked especially hard throughout the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic to protect vulnerable patients. As a result of the pandemic, we have been unable to receive visitors since 15th March this year. Throughout this time we have continued to provide the highest standards of care and cleanliness for everyone. Our latest CQC inspection has us rated ‘Good’ overall as well as for being Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-Led. CQC inspections take into account the views of patients and their families to provide an impartial reflection of the quality of our service, though we are always striving to improve even further. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss your views so we can continue to provide the best possible care to our patients. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly at 0115 968 0202
