I found this care home to be friendly, caring, clean and the staff were efficient. Very hardworking and always helpful.
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete a review.
If I ever have to go into care Red Rose would be my first choice. They are really excellent there. The staff really are worth their weight in gold, more than any politician.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review.
My brother has been at the Red Rose Care Home since last April 2023. As I live over 200 miles away this was my first visit. The home was clean, bright and had a pleasant atmosphere. The staff appeared very considerate and caring. My brother was in good spirits and being looked after very well. He has severe physical limitations and the staff cope with his lack of mobility very well.
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete a review. The internet has become such an important tool as a forum to show what a positive experience being in a very good care home can be. We have a unique staff set at Red Rose, and Red Homes generally, who are passionate about the care we provide.
The room is fairly small but has a height adjustable bed and call bell, staff respond quickly.
The environment is homely and very warm with three lounges and a lounge that visitors can go to with Mum. Staff make visitors welcome with biscuits and a coffee.
There is a range of activities to encourage interaction, some physical activity and encourage processing such as quizzes and bingo. Outside singers etc also visit. All activities take place in the home.
We are very happy with the care mum receives. I suggested more fresh fruit after a questionnaire went out and believe this is on offer even if Mum makes the less healthy choice of cake.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this review. I do hope your mum continues to enjoy her time with us.
The care my mother receives is excellent, she often tells me how well she is looked after. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, they treat her with care, dignity and respect. We are kept well informed of any health issues she may have.
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete a such a lovely and positive review.
My mother was cared for extremely well both in the residential side and in the nursing unit. She was treated with respect and dignity. All the staff, from the reception, housekeepers, care staff and nurses, were fantastic. My mum passed away peacefully with no pain with her family by her side in a comfortable, caring environment. Thank you to all the team!
What a lovely review of Red Rose Care Community. Thank you so much.
The care that my relative received at Red Rose was excellent. The staff were so helpful and caring, nothing was too much trouble and treated our relative with dignity and respect. The staff work so hard to provide a high level of service and cannot be praised enough. Thank you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete a review of the Red Rose Care Community.
Wow. What a home. Clean. Well-equipped and from the very beginning, this home has been wonderful for my grandmother. They go above and beyond. My grandmother is very very happy. A world away from how she was when she first came to the home. Everyone cares so much for her. Thank you.
Thank you so much for such a positive review. The staff were thrilled to read your comments and we are thrilled to see how well your mum is enjoying life at Red Rose.
My nanny is very well looked after in a lovely facility, her room is spacious and she is always smiling and singing. They helped us celebrate her 94th birthday today, providing a cake and afternoon tea (sandwiches, hot drinks and juice) for all the family. It made her day extra special!
We thoroughly enjoyed the birthday celebrations. A special day for a special lady.
Of more importance are the staff. The family felt at all times that my mother was well cared for. The staff were always pleasant and respectful. They made sure she was well fed, clean, well dressed and that her medication was administered properly. We were particularly grateful to the senior staff who ensured excellent care for my mother in her final 36 hours of life. They provided a level of comfort to my mother which could not possibly be matched in hospital for which we will always be grateful.
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete this review. The staff at Red Rose are incredibly dedicated and caring and it is a privilege to work alongside such a professional team.
I am so pleased my mother is happy and well cared for at Red Rose Care Community. The staff are so helpful and friendly and caring! They do what they can to make things happen! I live in East Sussex and don't get to see my mother very often, so I rely on the phone to speak to her, quite often she doesn't hear it or leaves it in her room, but the staff help me to speak to her, by passing the phone to her when I call Red Rose, which is excellent!
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for Red Rose Care Community. Please do continue to give our staff and management feedback if there is anything we can do to further improve the care we provide for your mother.
All residents look happy and always smiling, which says it all. Staff are friendly and caring and are there to listen. The home is bright, clean and very welcoming. Lots of activities to keep them amused. My mother loves a little tipple and they always make sure she has it in the evening, which is important to keep her routine. I know she is being well cared for.
Thank you for taking the time to review Red Rose Care Community.
A clean, modern and above all friendly home. The staff have treated my father with care, compassion and dignity. In my opinion, any home stands and falls by the way staff treat the residents and all the staff greet visitors in a friendly manner and help my father when asked. I am confident that the nursing staff will always place my father's needs as a priority and that is all I could ask for.
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete this review. Family feedback is so important for us to ensure we manage a professional and caring care home.
I went to see a lady on the Brockton Court unit, who I previously cared for, within her own home. She appeared to be in good health and happy. The cleanliness of her room and bathroom was excellent, and they were also spacious. It appears that the staff are very friendly, and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. There is a very homely feeling at Brockton Court. A bit like a trip down memory lane, they have paintings on the walls and a window displaying items from many years ago. Was really nice to see. A variety of lounge areas to welcome visitors to spend time with their loved ones. The care home seems very friendly and welcoming to me. All the service users seem to be socializing and laughing among themselves. The environment seems really posative.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Red Rose. The staff are literally incredible at the home; the hours they work, the meticulous approach to creating a clean and caring environment. Thank you so much for recognising their endeavours. And I am so pleased to hear that your friend sounds so settled and happy.
Mum went to Red Rose for the last 3 months of her life. She was looked after with care and kindness. We would highly recommend Red Rose and all their staff. The home is very clean, with lovely rooms and friendly staff. We were made very welcome when visiting mum and saw for ourselves the care that everyone had for the residents. We as a family cannot thank all the staff at Red Rose enough.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us, these have been shared with the staff team. We wish you and your family all the best for the future.
My mum recently passed away but the care she received from all the staff at Red Rose Care Home in Farndon was truly amazing they work so hard to make sure all the residents and my mum are cared for with dignity and kindness the cleanliness of the home is marvellous I will be forever thankful for the care she received.
Thank you so much for your kind words, which I will pass on to the staff who cared for your mother.
Always greeted with a smile when we arrive, the staff are brilliant with my nana keeping her calm and supported with activities. The home is always clean. Love catching up with what they do with the monthly news letter and updates on Facebook.
My mum moved into the home on the dementia care part of the building at Farndon back in 2021. My mum has Alzheimer's disease and with her being a strong character, we thought the transition to residential care would be a struggle for her and the care team. She very quickly settled in, and found her singing voice and her wicked sense of humour too.
She still resides there, she is settled and thinks of the staff as family.
I have to commend the staff and management. Everyone involved with the care of my mum, are switched on, engaged, empathetic and passionate. They truly care for her and are very supportive of the family.
The home is spotlessly clean, and the food is well balanced and cooked on site.
There is a laundry in situ ran by a team. Mum's clothes are clean and fresh and that gives incredible peace of mind.
Mum is in the best place possible and we are incredibly blessed to have this all on our doorstep.
Thank you Red Rose from the bottom of my heart
Thank you so much for such a lovely review. We do hope that your mum continues to enjoy her time with us.
I am extremely grateful for all the support I have received at this emotional time. A million heartbeats of love to you all.
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete your review of Red Rose Care Community. It means a great deal to the management and staff at the home to receive such lovely comments.
My mother moved into Red Rose Care Community in March last year. The care since this time has been thoughtful, professional, and very friendly towards her. This was during the difficult times of the Covid pandemic. I cannot thank them enough. Her recent fall and hospitalisation has proved difficult for her but I am sure that on her return to the home she will make great strides again.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this review. We will continue to do our very best to ensure your mother, and all our other residents, are looked after with care, compassion and commitment.

Meet the Team (2)

I began my nursing career in Romania as a Registered General Nurse, working in hospital settings and as a nursing teacher. In April 2016, I moved to the UK, bringing with me a deep passion for caring for others and making a real difference in people's lives.
Over the past nine years, I have advanced within the care sector, progressing from Registered General Nurse to Senior RGN-Unit Manager and Infection Control Lead. Since joining Red Rose Care Community in August 2025, I have continued to lead with enthusiasm and a commitment to excellence.
I feel honoured to work as the General Manager, allowing me to do what I love most: being at the heart of our community and collaborating with both residents and the team. I am dedicated to delivering person-centred care, where the comfort, dignity, and happiness of every resident truly matter. I thrive on positive collaboration with our multidisciplinary team and deeply value the relationships I build with residents, their families, and my colleagues.
My goal is to ensure that our residents' quality of life is always at its highest level and that their needs are fully met in a warm, caring environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

I began my nursing career in my home country, where I qualified with a passion for caring and a commitment to making a difference. Over the past 32 years, I’ve worked across diverse healthcare settings, gaining experience that has shaped me into a resilient, adaptable, and compassionate professional.
My journey has strengthened my clinical skills, deepened my understanding of patient needs, and helped me grow into a supportive and confident leader. I’ve always valued teamwork, open communication, and creating an environment where colleagues feel empowered to do their best work.
Stepping into the Interim Deputy Manager role is an important milestone for me. I bring a global perspective, strong clinical judgement, and a leadership style grounded in integrity and collaboration. My goals are to strengthen team culture, enhance residents’ experience, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality.
I am proud of the path that brought me here, and I am committed to leading with purpose, compassion, and a clear vision for continuous improvement.
