The Royal Care Home is one of the most highly respected care homes I could possibly ask for with regards the love and care and respect they not only show my mum but also us as her family.

Previous care homes she had been in sadly couldn't control her mental health needs but she has never had an outbreak since being in this care home.

I am highly delighted that I chose this home for my Mum, It is clean, her bedroom and bedding/bathroom is always spotless and she is kept very comfortable, safe and secure. I have attended unannounced on many occasions and I have always found the cleanliness to be constant. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I have seen first hand how well the residents are treated with respect and dignity. You cannot turn this on and off, it is too consistent to be false or for show. The manager is excellent and this reflects upon staff performance. They are well looked after and valued.

Overall Experience
Our aunt was a resident in the EMI part of The Royal Care Home in Rossington following her discharge from hospital.
Following what was a difficult and challenging year where aunty had very challenging behaviour which necessitated her admission to hospital on a section of the Mental Health Act.
The manager and all the staff coped with her very difficult behaviour and managed her condition with great care and professionalism
Their attitude to her and to other residents was exemplary, the staff were well trained and most of all, well led by their manager.
Nothing was too much trouble, the decor was superb, the rooms were a wonderfully good size and with ensuite facilities.
What was a very difficult time for all the family was made bearable by the support we received from the manager and his staff.

We would like to thank the staff for all other dedication and care in our hour of need. It would be no word of exaggeration to say we could not have managed without them.

After nine years in residence, Dad passed away peacefully. His time in the Royal was like being at home for him as his dementia deteriorated. He was cared for with great care, professionalism and affection.
He was treated with dignity up to his last breath. It was a big relief to know he was looked after so well.

Thanks to the Royal management and staff.

Having been in assessment home for three weeks prior to going into The Royal I have myself and my family were astounded at the level of care and compassion afforded to my wife compared to that of the assessment home. I don't know if it was down to staff shortage or not well enough trained to care for patients in the assessment unit but did not stand comparison with The Royal.
