The staff could not be more helpful nothing is too much trouble for any of them. I cannot rate this nursing home highly enough. I would definitely recommend to anybody who is looking to put their loved ones in there. One hundred percent.
The support and care she receives in the home is fantastic. They all go above and beyond with everything they do.
There is also great entertainment and activities throughout the month, every month.
I am so glad we found Brookdale view and couldn't ask for more.
I highly recommend them if anyone is looking for a care home.
Brookdale View provides outstanding care in a warm and welcoming environment. The staff are attentive, compassionate, and go above and beyond to ensure my sister feels safe, respected, and valued. Communication with families is excellent, and the team works hard to create a homely atmosphere with engaging activities and personal touches. The dedication to person-centered care is evident in everything they do. Highly recommended for anyone seeking quality care for their loved ones.
We are so pleased with the care Mum is receiving here. The staff are always kind, friendly, and welcoming, and it's clear how much they truly care about the residents. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble, and they always take the time to make sure Mum is comfortable and happy. It gives us real peace of mind knowing she is so well looked after. We're very grateful to the whole team for the excellent care and support they provide every day.
My mum has received excellent care at brookdale view. All the staff and the manager are really caring and nothing is too much trouble. I feel my mum is safe and happy and well looked after. All the carers deserve a medal
I would recommend Brookdale View to anyone
My mum has been there for over 10 years and it is now her forever home, the staff are like a second family to us.
The home is very well catered for the residents and the staff have always been very nice to my aunt. Two staff members in particular are very diligent and supportive. I feel my aunt is safe and well cared for.
My mother has been cared for at Brookdale View Care Home and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are highly competent, warm and friendly. They are gentle and kind with the residents. My mother has settled wonderfully and she has been treated with respect and kindness throughout.
Thanks again, you are wonderful.
Mum moved to Brookdale View Care Home a couple of months ago. She has settled in better than I anticipated she would and that's thanks to the manager and her team of amazing staff, nothing is too much trouble. They have all been supportive, patient and understanding and the manager's door is always open and she is willing to listen to any concerns and is regularly seen in the corridors. There are a range of activities throughout the week for those wishing to join in. We were encouraged to bring personal items to decorate the room and make it home. Mum says she enjoys the food and there is always a good choice on the menu which is displayed outside the dining room daily. Most days, weather permitting, I take her into the courtyard garden as it overlooks the bowling green at Brookdale Park, the location of the home is a bonus as Mum has a view of the park and likes to watch the birds and squirrels from her window. I'm happy knowing she is being well cared for.
The staff are all very friendly and keep us, as a family, updated on any health issues. They look to enjoy their jobs which I'm glad, as I have found at some care homes staff moan to residents and families, which when working in this environment they need to leave their personal issues at the door. Brookdale staff all work hard and always smile when I see them.
Looking forward to seeing what the new manager will do, she's been here six months and things have improved. The residents need more stimulation and that is happening more.
Food could be improved and after I have seen changes in this already.
There is always a very happy atmosphere at Brookdale.
I know that my mum is well cared for which gives myself and my family peace of mind. My mum always says that her carers are her family.
The care home manager has recently left after about 18 months there. Since she has gone, standards have definitely dropped. There's been no hot water for residents to shower for a long time. My mother is used to showering every day. She has dementia and not being able to shower breaks her routine and confuses her. She is sometimes not woken up for her meals despite us telling the carers to wake her up for meals. One day this week I arrived at 1 pm, bed not made or changed, bins not emptied and hoovering not done. Sort this out! This applies to December.
Thank you for your review. We value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. We are sorry you have had cause to raise concern about the home and would like to advise the home has a newly appointed home manager who brings with her a wealth of experience. We would be happy...
I moved into the home 6 weeks ago, after being cared for at home with my daughter, feeling anxious scared, upset at leaving everything behind - I shouldn't have worried. I was made to feel so welcome by all staff and management. I feel like they are my family, it's clean, I'm kept clean, the staff are so caring and comforting, I look forward to seeing them and having our chats.
This home and staff have been warm, welcoming, polite and wonderful with my mother. They have made us feel like part of their family. I have a lot of respect for all the staff. My mum has made friends and loves it at Brookdale View Care Home which makes it so much easier for me as I was her carer.
We wish to thank the manager and staff including kitchen staff for the wonderful day. Garden party again would like to thank you for the care that you give to all your residents. On behalf of the family, I convey my thanks again.
My cousin and I went to view the nursing home. The manager was welcoming, we were shown around the home. The home looked very clean and the staff seemed very friendly. The manager offered us coffee and biscuits which was very nice. The manager spent some time with us and talked through all our concerns. My cousin's brother moved into Brookdale View and seems happy.
Me and my cousin went in to visit my brother and we have noticed that since being in Brookdale View my brother looks well cared for. The staff are very friendly and work very hard. The home manager always comes out of her office to greet us and make us feel welcome. We are always offered a cup of coffee when we visit. We attended our first meeting with the home manager, staff and other residents and it was enjoyable.
The new manager is doing a great job. I've noticed the changes already. The place is cleaner and brighter. Hope she stays around, there's been too many changes of managers in the last two years.
Thank you for your lovely comments. We are pleased that the changes that have been made have been noticed. Please feel free to pop in at any time for a chat, our door is always open.
My brother was placed in Brookdale View after a stay in hospital and he loves it there. He has always been very independent but due to his disability issues, now needs nursing care and he cannot speak highly enough of all the staff and how kind and caring they are. As a family, we are kept informed and whenever we visit are welcomed warmly and treated as friends. His room is lovely and warm, a very good size and he really feels at home there. He was at another home prior to his hospital stay and whilst it was okay, Brookdale has shone in comparison and my brother has felt happier and his mental health has improved. I feel confident in the staff and know that he is safe and well under their care.
