Ideally situated three miles outside of Manchester in the residential area of Newton Heath, Brookdale View care home offers personalised residential and nursing care.

The purpose-built, welcoming home offers beautiful views of Brookdale Park as well as a lovely garden, which is a favourite place for some residents. There is also a range of lovely dining areas where residents can relax and enjoy an intimate dining experience with family and friends.

My wife has been in the home for about 2 years over the last year it has been difficult due to the pandemic and we only got to see her over the telephone.
The staff on the nursing unit have been wonderful they are so kind and dedicated and always take time out to talk to my wife

My family have never experienced anyone in a nursing home before but the staff have been lovely and kept us informed of any issues.
We are able to visit now which is a bonus

My partner has been in Brookdale for a few weeks. Staff are so caring and go out of their way to help my partner. All the staff seem happy and to answer any questions that we have, I would definitely recommend this home if you are looking for somewhere for a loved one to stay.

To give a full review is a little difficult at this moment in time. I see my husband daily and he appears to be well looked after. The staff are attentive and caring, they keep me informed about his health, also his eating and drinking intake. I cannot comment on the food, during and activities as I
am not allowed in the home due to Covid.

This care home is outstanding. Care is seen in everything that is done for the residents. The staff go to great lengths, nothing is too much trouble. The home is kept to a very high standard of cleanliness. I think they deserve great praise during this covid period of keeping their residents free of
it and that has to be down to excellent management and staff willing to deal with such a difficult situation. I would recommend this care home to anyone who is looking for a home for a relative.

For me as I put care/support is satisfactory. I can find no fault I can not ask for better. These carers work very hard with the type of residents they have to deal with on a daily basis. I take my hat off to them it is not easy as they do their utmost to execute their work.

This is an excellent care home. All staff, from management and nurses and carers are extremely helpful, kind and caring. Nothing is too much trouble and all needs are met. The room and facilities are all kept very clean. It has a homely atmosphere. The food is very good and I would recommend this home.

All staff at the home provide competent and effective care to both my gran and grandad. They attend to their needs and ensure a "home-like" environment is present. I will always be eternally grateful that they are providing the care I couldn't have at home on my own. Thank you for all you do.

My only complaint is that the meals are very rarely on time.
After the night of the 10/10/2019, sleepless night. Staff collecting cups and saucer and residents shouting.

We have recently employed a new chef at Brookdale View and regrettably we did experience some issues whilst she was recruited. Your comments have been shared with the kitchen staff so the necessary improvements with the meal service can be made. We have liaised with the staff team to keep noise to a minimum.

My mother was taken into Brookdale View. The staff could not have been better. They were wonderful to my Mum and my Father and the rest of our family. They are a great team, from the manager right through to the cleaners. My Mum could not have been treated better. My Mum died in the home and they were
lovely with all of us on that awful day.

I find the staff very approachable, caring and interested in my Mum. I am very happy. I get told updates of when my Mum has been more independent, which appears to make staff happy. My Mum smiles a lot and appears settled and happy in herself.

My mother-in-law has been in Brookdale Care Home since February. My wife and I feel lucky to have found such a good place close to our home, where my wife can pop round any time of day. The very friendly and helpful staff do a brilliant job. The manager is again approachable. So far no problems. Long
