Although, in general, I'm happy with most aspects of the home, I have concerns re the speed of action with medication.

My mother-in-law has been in Brookdale Care Home since February. My wife and I feel lucky to have found such a good place close to our home, where my wife can pop round any time of day. The very friendly and helpful staff do a brilliant job. The manager is again approachable. So far no problems. Long may it continue.

The room is always clean and tidy and the food when I've been there is good it's what she wants and eats. Staff here are great. They're kind, understanding and there for everyone.

If you ask about something they will take time and explain it.

The members of staff are excellent and go above and beyond the call of duty. They are so dedicated and are willing to go the extra mile.

There is also a wide range of activities to keep us all entertained and stimulated. All in all, I thoroughly recommend this care home to anyone.

Overall Experience

Brookdale View is a place where I feel safe and special all of the time and where my dignity is respected. The staff always go the extra mile to make sure I am happy with all the things they attend to even my washing, personal hygiene and upkeeping my dignity at all times.
