Ideally situated three miles outside of Manchester in the residential area of Newton Heath, Brookdale View care home offers personalised residential and nursing care.

The purpose-built, welcoming home offers beautiful views of Brookdale Park as well as a lovely garden, which is a favourite place for some residents. There is also a range of lovely dining areas where residents can relax and enjoy an intimate dining experience with family and friends.

Staff and management are friendly, efficient and informative. They communicate all information relating to my brother without any fuss. Having dealt with a difficult nursing home before Brookdale View was a breath of fresh air.

My wife is living in Brookdale View Care Home and she feels like it's her own home. The staff are so friendly and supportive of the patients. Particularly the manager who is professional in leading her staff and gives kind advice to all members of staff who are working well together. Excellent. I will
strongly recommend this care home to the Chinese community if some of those need similar care or treatment.

I am a relative who visits, and have found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful - nothing is too much trouble for them, at least the ones that I ask about various things. There is always somebody doing housekeeping and it is as clean as it can be in the circumstances.

Brookdale View we found to be very friendly and all the staff were always available to answer any questions and so cheerful which helped in knowing your loved one (my husband) was always greeted with a lovely good morning and a smile.

My uncle has been in Brookdale View for some time now. I find the staff are excellent with him and always treat him with respect, which must be hard as my uncle is not easy to look after. Returning to the staff, who I think are under paid and I believe are paid a minimum wage, they do a thankless job
which a lot of people would not nor could not do. I take my hat of to the staff of Brookdale View. I really do think the pay system needs to be reviewed for staff of care homes.

Really nice care home with super staff. All residents are looked after well. The home is a welcoming place where you can visit anytime. It is very clean too with nice rooms. It has been a good home for my Uncle who has been here for a few years now.

Very happy with all the care Mum is receiving. Home is very clean. Staff are fantastic with my mother, very polite. Have noticed they have lots of care for all services users. I would recommend any of my friends to see this care home for family members.

Having been a carer in various settings for 34 years, I was looking for a care home that ticked all the boxes. After looking at 7 places, we decided that Brookdale View was the right place for our mum. The staff are very good, patient and respectful of all my mum's needs. Mum seems to have developed
a rapport with a certain carer who appears to have time to explain to my mum when need be. The manager is very efficient and listens to any concerns that may arise. No care home is perfect however pleased my mum is here.

A particular carer and the other staff always keep my Mam occupied and happy. They will always sit and find the time to have a chat and giggle with her. All of the staff are professional and empathetic to my mother's issues. It's down to the staff since arriving that my mother no longer feels isolated.

The care and attention from all the staff, nurses and carers has been second to none. My mam had the best care I could have hoped for. The home is kept clean and hygienic to a high standard. I would recommend to any family.

The staff have helped my father in law to recover from his time in the hospital and his replacement hip operation. Re-enablement process is good, now able to stand with support but not walk. Staff wash and dress him each morning, help him into a wheelchair and take him to the dining room for breakfast
then to the TV lounge for company and entertainment. They change his pad and wash him every 2-3 hours and check on his needs regularly day and night. Staff are friendly and caring and take an interest in his family life and leisure pursuits. They are welcoming to visitors. His nurse updates me on his health and progress each week when I visit. She has arranged a local GP for him, replacement spectacles and his medication. He is in good hands and I have peace of mind.
