Overall l, to date, my experience of the care home and care package my Dad has received has been a good one.
The most important thing for me is the safety, comfort and wellbeing of Dad and as mentioned this has been very pleasing.
Dad is well looked after, the staff treat him with respect and dignity and I have no concerns in relation to him being happy and loved.
The management and staff are always friendly, helpful and approachable. Whenever I've had a concern ive felt satisfied this will be addressed.
Dad is happy here and thats the main thing.
This is all a new experience for me but having the comfort in knowing Dad is safe, well and looked after eases any additional unnecessary worry that comes hand in hand with dementia.

I'd be happy to recommend this home to anyone else going through the same experience as me and dad.

I think all the staff here are wonderful, can't thank them enough for the care of my mother, who passed away there this week. We have smiled and cried together and I will never forget any of their faces. Its been funny and sad, they couldn't have done anymore as far as I am concerned, they all have hearts of gold, and made the last years of my mums life (Jean) a comfortable and happy one. God be with you all and bless you!

I have nothing but praise for Laurel Court. Mum has been here for 8 months and has received the best care. The staff are wonderful, friendly, kind and caring. They are always smiling and happy to have a chat. It took Mum a little while to settle in, which is normal as it's such a huge change from living at home, but she sees Laurel Court as home now. She joins in the various activities especially music, crafts and bingo and recently celebrated her 90th birthday which they made very special for her. We feel so lucky to have found such a lovely place for Mum where we know she is well looked after and happy.

Mum is so well cared for at Laurel Court. All the staff know her and are able to talk to us about how she is and what she needs.
We love that there are activities she can join in with and that people really seem to care about her.
The manager is always available if I have any questions and the whole place is friendly and welcoming.

Thank you to the whole team.

A truly amazing care home where my Mother and now my Father received/receive an outstanding level of care. All the staff (carers, managers, admin, domestic, chaplains, and caretakers) are friendly, approachable, professional and supportive. They go above and beyond the call of duty to provide my parents and our family the care and support to meet our needs and more. We are so very, very grateful.

Both my parents have been cared for at Laurel Court. Sadly Mum passed away in August this year. The staff could not have done more for her - giving her wonderful care for the last 18 months of her life - she felt loved and at home there. Dad is still there- treated with so much care, respect and understanding. It truly is a wonderful place, the care from the staff extends to the family of their residents too.

Simply a really caring place and it puts our minds at rest knowing the level of care our dad is getting.

Everything at Laurel Port is excellent, the love and care shine through. It can never be as good as your own home but it runs it a close second. My husband was happy and content here.

When he was dying, the staff really looked after him, myself and my son.

My dad after spending some time in hospital after another fall decided he was too scared to return home. After visiting Laurel Court we moved him in and we are so happy that we found it.

The room was spacious, quiet, very clean at all times and had an ensuite shower room. But it was the staff who really makes Laurel Court exceptional. They are professional, attentive, dedicated and very kind. They treat the residents with respect and go above and beyond taking care of their well-being. There seem to be varied activities every day which they encouraged Dad to join in with! Sadly my dad was only there for a few months but at the end of his life, Dad was treated with such care and kindness.

The staff at Laurel Court are marvellous. They have looked after her for the past six years. In that time she has been treated with respect, dignity and has been genuinely loved and cared for. I feel the staff are now my mum's family. Across the board the staff have been fantastic and always have a smile in spite of the difficult job they do.

I have been really pleased with the care that my mum has received. The floor staff are friendly and helpful and the management team are really pleasant and keep me informed about any ongoing issues. While there are plenty of activities available, the problem is that due to my mum's severe dementia, she cannot really respond.
