My friend of 39 years moved into Chorlton Place due to not being able to look after herself independently.
Mum has settled at Chorlton Place. She enjoys her food here. The room is warm and comfortable. She enjoys the banter with the staff. She does complain to us there are not a lot of activities for her? She does enjoy listening to music here though.
Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. Thank you for sharing your experience with us; we are delighted your mother is enjoying her stay with us and we appreciate your kind words. At Chorlton Place, we offer one-to-one activities for...
I have seen new residents going from happy and friendly to low and tearful. The images are misleading, there is no flowers and smiley faces and there is no minibus. There was a 2 day out of date menu last time I was there and a ‘timetable’ of ‘activities’. The main activities I have seen on a regular basis is an unqualified activity person handing out colouring sheets and jigsaws. The website is false advertising.
Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. I am sorry to hear about your recent experience during your visit at Chorlton Place. We strive to create an environment where residents can relax, and visitors can enjoy their visit with their...
I have been and it all looks okay and the staff are nice. The area looks okay and gardens are well looked after. Everything is clean. I wish someone would answer the phone so I can speak to my mother but maybe they are busy.
Thank you for your review, we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. We appreciate your kind words regarding the care your mother receives at Chorlton Place. We are very sorry you have experienced difficulties getting through to speak with your mum via telephone....
I highly recommend Chorlton Place.
Mum has been very well looked after since arriving at Chorlton Place Care Home and her individual needs have been met. Thank you for caring for my mum like your own.
Fantastic care by all the staff! Very satisfied all round.
I recommend Chorlton Place to family friends on a regular basis. We really appreciate the kindness and caring approach at Chorlton Place.
I am happy here and I like the staff.
I have not been here very long, but the food is good. My room is clean. The staff are nice and friendly, always trying to help. No complaints at all.
An excellent place with everyone very cheerful and caring.
My Granma now lives in this care home, Granma was taken in from hospital and looked after very well. The managers, and one in particular, have been a godsend. I have not seen my Granma for 35 years and I located her in hospital after a family member passing, this manager goes out of her way to help me stay in contact with my Granma throughout Covid and also our 75 miles distance. Granma is happy and says the staff take good care of her and I am sure we would hear about it if anything were wrong. Thank you so much for all of your help in these awful times but make it easier for a family to stay connected, we even had a window visit one day which was lovely too. Amazing.
My mother was a resident in a nursing bed for a few years. Due to the lockdown, the family were not allowed in, only when my mam was dying, I was allowed in and my mam had three sons and two more daughters, also grandchildren, but they could not see my mam. The six months apart from my mam she had gone downhill, lost weight and she was laid in such an uncomfortable position. Before the lockdown, she looked fine, lying straight in her bed, but when I was allowed in, she looked uncomfortable. I wasn't happy.
Thank you for your review; we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. May I extend my earnest condolences on the passing of your Mother, and also my thanks for taking the time to write this review at what must be a very difficult time. Unfortunately, due to the...
My father has been here for over 12 months now and the care has been up and down it depends which staff are on duty. The care home definitely is understaffed and residents are left waiting to been seen to. Also, Communication has been horrendous at times. However, a new care manager has joined the team and in just two weeks has turned this place around. She has gone out of her way to ensure communication is key and has kept me up to date every few days with his condition and even sent a photo of my dad so I could send to the rest of the family. She also arranged a window visit after a long 8 months, which I was very grateful for and put my mind at rest that he was well and being looked after. The small things matter and I now have faith that he is well and someone has his best interest at heart. Thank you to the Manager. My scores are based on the new Manager joining the team.
My mother at present is a resident in the care home. The staff are exceptional and go out of their way to help and keep you up to date with what is happening and in my case the progress that my mother is making. Nothing is a problem for them and whatever you ask they will do, one example being a window visit due to present conditions. They are a great team and have a warm caring nature.
I believe that my husband is receiving excellent care from every aspect and that we (his family) are always welcomed by cheerful members of staff. The standards of this home are high. The food is better than hotel food.
Mum was very happy at Chorlton Place as was all the family. The care and attention given to her was fantastic. All delivered with love and devotion. Any person who spends time here towards the end of their life is one of the lucky ones never forgotten.
Since my father-in-law has moved in, he has felt at home very quickly. They have got to know his needs, when he needs help and when he wants to be left alone. The family are also made to feel welcome at any time. Excellent care home.
Good standard of care and assistance. Needs are met. Very pleasant staff who make a point of being familiar to personal needs. Generally good standard of hygiene, food and activities.
Very satisfied with the level of care and support provided by the staff.
