Happy with care mum receives in general but mum has started to display signs of depression this month as she is bipolar and have some concerns if staff fully understand my mum's condition as they have not witnessed my mum's illness before.
Personally, I have been quite happy with the support given to my mother and mum's body language seems to indicate that she is coping and adjusting well.
Very approachable and friendly staff, always willing to help. Clean environment and nice open space.
Choice of food could have a wider range.
I can relax knowing that she is very well cared for. So I can have a couple of days break from visiting.
Very satisfied with the care and treatment she is receiving.
Amazing staff, especially three ladies in particular, who have made my grandma's stay so much more comforting. They couldn't do enough for her, always making sure her make-up and hair are done. Very clean and tidy. The food has really improved since the new chef has arrived.
My father recently got a place at this home, prior to arriving the Manager was very helpful and understanding. My father has been cared for with care, compassion and respect. Nothing is too much for the staff to do and they make it feel like it is his home. All the staff are friendly and have made time to get to know him, his likes and dislikes. It
Good, friendly staff who care. Food could be better. Gardens are lovely.
I have visited her 2-3 times per week.
The staff are very good and have a good relationship with the residents. The nursing staff are equally caring.
I cannot find any fault at all with Chorlton Place.
My auntie came into Chorlton Place care home in April this year following a six-week stay in hospital for a severe chest infection. Her son and I are very satisfied with her care, we find all the staff are caring and professional. Everywhere is clean and tidy and the food is excellent. She seems very happy here.
Very happy from daughter also resident very happy.
Such a great service they looked after my father with care and compassion to the end the staff were so friendly to me and my family.
The resident is well cared for and staff are sympathetic to her needs. Surroundings are cheerful and in the main clean and fresh.
I am happy that my friend is being taken care of very well. The staff and manager are very helpful and if anything concerns you, they act with response efficiently.
Very friendly staff. Good cleaning standards. Everyone is approachable and willing to help when we approach them. Our resident relative says that he has a great experience being here. Thank you all for your hard work and commitment to residents. I only visit once a week and know that staff are busy. If any improvement - more communication with residents.
Lovely place, staff are nice and sweet, caring and patient and it is a clean place. Mum is always in a good way, happy, well dressed and clean.
Mum has been cared for by Charlton Place for approximately two years. She receives excellent care, physically. Staff laugh and joke with mum she enjoys the banter. Mum can be difficult and aggressive but this is well managed. Any issues have been dealt with promptly and effectively. I would like to see more activities but maybe I just time my visits wrong.
Dad sadly passed away in February 2017 but we are assured that he had the best care at that time.
Thank you to all the staff for caring.
Staff provide excellent care which is highly appreciated and I am thankful the standard of care is maintained.
2. All my Dad's needs are met with respect.
3. Dad is happy to be here.
4. Dad says he is happy.
5. Makes me happy, he is well cared for.
6. Dad is always clean and dressed.
7. Dad's bedding and room is always clean.
8. Dad is happy with his meals.
It is a very good nursing home. Staff are good and efficient. Staff are friendly and nursing home is clean. I have noticed and seen other residents look happy and comfortable. I am happy about my sister-in-law's care because whenever she is unwell staff and medical attention are available to look after her. My sister-in-law's room and bedding is always clean, which is good for her health. Whenever I came to visit her staff would welcome me and offer drinks.
Since my mother came to live at Chorlton Place Care Home she has been relaxed here. Her clothes are always clean and fresh. The whole environment feels safe, secure, spacious and well kept and has a welcoming atmosphere. The meals provided are well-balanced and nourishing and the staff encouraged mum to drink plenty of fluids. I have enjoyed having an occasional meal with Mum, in the airy dining room, which overlooks the wheelchair accessible gardens. But all this would count for naught without 'all' the staff. I cannot praise and thank them enough for their continuous responsiveness to Mum's needs. 'ALL' staff are truly patient, kind and caring, always supportive; ready to help and reassure in any situation. All staff certainly live up to their (CPCH) Policy of Dignity in Care.
