Located close to Oldham and Manchester, Longwood Lodge provides a range of high quality, tailored care and support options in a warm and welcoming environment.

Longwood Lodge Care Home is set within its own private grounds and has beautiful views of Alexandra Park. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and includes ensuite facilities and a 24 hour call system. Residents are encouraged to personalise their room with personal items such as ornaments and photographs.

A varied menu of delicious and healthy food is freshly prepared by the onsite chef, and menus can be tailored to individual requirements and preferences. Residents may eat in the home's pleasant dining room or in their own room if preferred.

Residents can engage in some of the many stimulating activities and events that are organised at Longwood, including arm chair aerobics, sing a longs, bingo, quizzes, arts and crafts, pampering sessions, and many more. Residents can also benefit from services such as a mobile library, weekly hairdresser visits, optical and dental service and a chiropodist.

Whilst my uncle was a resident in Longwood Lodge, he relieved excellent treatment from all staff. He was very comfortable up until the end of his life.
Care staff looked after the family alongside my uncle, providing food when we were present. I cannot recommend this home enough. Thank you for absolutely
everything you have done.

I can't thank the team at Longwood Lodge enough for the care and commitment they have shown towards my grandad. From being told he would be cared for in bed going forward from his hospital discharge in early 2022, to watching him celebrate Christmas, sat up in the communal dining area on Christmas Day
and having Christmas Dinner! Well, what can I say other than thank you!

My mother was a resident for over four years. During her stay, she was so well looked after. The home is in a beautiful location, the rooms are spotless, bright and fresh.
Mum enjoyed the activities, the celebrations and the kindness of the staff who always treated her as an individual.
When mum
passed away the staff were so very kind and thoughtful. Placing a parent in care is a worrying time. I'm so glad that we found Longwood Lodge.

Since grandad has been a resident at Longwood Lodge, I can't honestly put into words the change and effects it had on him and us as a family. The staff are fantastic, not just since he arrived but in the run-up to the move from independent living to needing support over a twenty-four hour period.

loves it here and the staff are supporting him with his change in circumstances. I'm so pleased with everything, as a family, we can relax knowing he is cared for with the utmost dignity and respect. It's like home from home! Thanks, Team Longwood! What is usually a worrying and daunting time has been exciting and enjoyable for all of us!

My grandma has been in this care home for nearly a year now. It was hard to see her go in there but she has adapted extremely well thanks to all the great staff that care for her. She seems happy and settled. The rooms are great and extremely clean. I would recommend this care home to anyone without
a doubt.

My mum has always been cared for with empathy and compassion from all the staff, they always keep family updated on any changes and are always there to help family members when needed and support them. The rooms are always clean and meals are always good choices. The staff always keep residents happy
and do plenty of activities each day. My mum has been so happy since moving into the home 12 months ago.

When it became clear that Mum needed full-time care, we visited numerous care homes. As soon as we walked into Longwood Lodge, we knew we'd found the right place for her as the warm, welcoming, homely atmosphere immediately shone through. The home is always spotlessly clean, and Mum is always wearing
her own, clean clothes. All the staff are absolutely amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them and it's clear they genuinely care about all their residents, treating them with both kindness and respect. The fabulous management team have kept us to date with all aspects of Mums care and have included us in any decisions that have needed to be made.
Throughout the pandemic, the staff's dedication and commitment could not have been bettered; they have done an incredible job in keeping everyone safe during this extremely challenging time. My brother and I will never be able to thank them enough for the warmth and care they give to Mum every day.

My mum has been in Longwood since 2019 and I cannot fault anything. The management staff always keep me updated with the care my mum receives and the care staff are always keep m updated with the care my mum receives and the care staff are always welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. During these

Longwood Lodge has been amazing throughout the past year especially. Since going to Longwood, they have shown nothing but compassion and care not just to my gran but to my family also. My nan has been in Longwood for just over 3 years now, and I can honestly say I would recommend this home to anyone. It has been a difficult time not seeing my nan, but with Skype, window visits and seeing her on Facebook keeps us all as a family happy knowing she is well looked after. Keep up the good

From the moment my sister and I visited Longwood Lodge we felt the warmth and dedication of the staff. We wanted to ensure our mum would be safe and cared for as well as we would at home and we have not been disappointed. Mum has now been a resident for 15 months and through the very challenging last
9 months staff have worked ‘their socks off’ to keep mum as happy as possible. If your loved one sadly can no longer reside at home then Longwood Lodge is indeed the next best place to be. We thank the fabulous management team and all the amazing staff for their continuous hard work and caring ways. Our gratitude is never-ending.

From the moment they open the door; there's a smile, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The place itself is warm and welcoming. Food is excellent. The transition for my mum from her home to Longwood Lodge was excellent, and the staff have done their very best to help her settle in as best they
