The staff noticed confusion in my mother, they rang 111 and a urine infection was confirmed. 111 prescribed antibiotics and the staff at Langfield Care Home sourced the antibiotics, by going to two chemists and my mother was able to start the course without delay. Previously I had to contact the surgery
and then have a consultation with a GP who would agree to a urine test, this would then have to be collected, carried out, returned & sent away - all resulting in time elapsing before my mother would start on her antibiotics. I am so impressed with Langfield & the care they constantly give to my mother (and others, I'm sure). Thank you to all of the staff you really do go above and beyond for your residents.

The standard of care is excellent, all the staff are genuine and caring. One lady is particularly efficient and effective as a senior fully knowledgeable on residents' needs and quirks and very supportive to family members when times are difficult. Every effort is made to keep the home clean and tidy
even though there is serious work being carried out on the ground floor.

My uncle was reluctant to go into a care home initially but this was necessary due to his increased care needs and reduced mobility. However, he has settled well due to the extremely welcoming staff and their positive engaging behaviour. He enjoys the activities provided and especially the wide range
of nutritious food. Thank you for providing him with quality care in his advancing years.

I am so happy with the care my mum receives. She is so settled and happy and loves a sing-along at the parties the home provides. All the carers are truly amazing, Mum has a fantastic relationship with them, which is so heartwarming to witness. Cannot praise the carers enough, they always keep me informed
on how much Mum is doing which is a great comfort to us as a family.

All of the staff at Langfield are brilliant, caring and welcoming. A warm and happy atmosphere that allows for a comfortable home for residents with many activities throughout the week. Can't recommend this care home enough to anybody looking for a place for their loved ones to be looked after.

We regularly visit a friend in this care home and we always find it warm and welcoming. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Our friend always seems happy and well looked after. His room is well kept, and staff often pop in when we’re there, whether to drop off washing or just check if he needs
anything.

My dad has been a resident of Langfield Court for about three months. He has settled in well and has found the staff really lovely, friendly and supportive. As a family, we have also found the staff to be fantastic. The facilities are also good, with communal areas and activities for residents. It has
a bright and positive atmosphere, and it is a fantastic place for elderly people to live when they need support. My father and our daughters are so pleased that he has found such a great place to live in his old age.

Dad came here on a discharge to assess after a week in the hospital; he was confused and still unwell. Everyone at Langfield shows him care, respect and understanding. Patiently supporting him in this new environment.
This is now his permanent home, and for us as a family, it is a relief that he is
safe and well cared for. Langfield encourages Dad to join in social events and be part of the bigger family that the residents of Langfield are.

Since my father has been a resident at Langfield Care Home, he has made great improvements to his overall health, daily life and social interactions with staff and residents.
The home is very well run with excellent and efficient management, care and domestic staff teams working together to create
a wonderful and caring environment where my father's needs are met and I can relax feeling confident in his safety.

The care my father has received over the past year has been excellent. The team led by the manager has been caring and attentive to his needs and he has been treated with dignity and respect in his advancing years. It's one year since we struck luck and crossed paths with Langfield Care Home in Mum's journey through Alzheimer's Disease. During this time Mum enjoyed temporary respite care at Langfield, then (after suffering a hip fracture at home) moved to full-time residential care in this wonderful place. Her
recovery to full physical fitness and mobility is down to the non-stop dedication of all members of staff. Dad visits Mum every day and is treated with respect and dignity, which is priceless. Although Mum now has limited ability to communicate, she indicates in no uncertain terms that she is happy, and that Langfield is where she wants to be.

The staff are super lovely and have been really empathetic towards Dad. His transition was tough and the Langfield team provided the perfect balance of nurturing and respecting his independence. Totally relaxed re visiting time, which suits my busy schedule. Also, the visitor's kitchen with tea-making
facilities and microwave is much appreciated. Dad is really starting to settle and it is good to see him smiling again. Many thanks to the Langfield team.

My mum has been diagnosed with vascular dementia and she is very independent as she was a nurse for 35 years. The staff are brilliant with her and a so understanding of what is going on in her head. She thinks she is still working as a nurse and does help out washing the pots and setting the tables
for meal times. It is very good that she feels useful.

I am very pleased with the care my mum receives at Langfield Care Home. She has been there for over a year now, and she is very happy, content and settled. All the staff make a fuss over her and really care for her well-being. The communication is fantastic, and I am updated regularly about her care
and how she is getting on. I have so much peace of mind knowing she is there with staff that really care for her and look after her just as much as I do.
