We have a family member at Ladybrook, she has lived there for several months now and we are regular visitors. We have found all the staff, not just the carers, to be friendly, kind, caring and considerate both to us and mum. The atmosphere is welcoming, we have taken part in a number of the social activities this summer which are really well planned and enjoyed by residents, visitors and staff. We have dined with mum occasionally and the food is excellent. If I have any concerns or questions they are dealt with quickly and it is very reassuring to have someone to ask. Mum's health, mental stimulation and mobility have all improved hugely since she moved there. This is a result of the daily exercise activities that she attends plus conversation and interaction with friendly young carers and other staff. It is a huge relief to know that mum is safe, eating properly and being cared for all the time.

My mother has been a resident in the home for just over 6 months and the difference in her from when she arrived until now is remarkable. When she first moved in she was using a wheelchair as she was too frail and unsteady to walk without assistance. Now once she has been showered and dressed in a morning she doesn't really need any further assistance until it's time for her to get ready for bed. She's spent much of the good weather that we have had this year taking herself outside to enjoy the garden - something she hadn't been able to do at her bungalow for the last few years. The activities that she joins in with give her company even on the days where she doesn't have visitors.

My aunt moved into Ladybrook Manor in May 24. One concern she had was about staff retention. She didn't want to keep explaining her issues to different people. She needn't have worried. Staff retention appears to be very high which is a big plus. I visit almost daily at different times. Yes, at times the care team are stretched as all residents want the same thing at the same time, such as all wanting to go the bed around a similar time, but I can vouch the care team do work as a team and do all they can to ensure everybody is attended to as quickly as possible. The bistro is a fabulous spot for not only residents but family and friends too. I don't know what I expected of a care home, but Ladybrook Manor stood out as the best and it has not disappointed either my aunt or myself. I guess that's down to good management and having people who treat residents as they would expect their own relatives to be looked after.

It is always a pleasure to visit my Mum and Dad now they are being looked after so well by such wonderful people in such a lovely environment.

Can't praise the home enough for the excellent care my dad receives. The staff cannot do enough for him, nothing is too much trouble. The staff are polite and friendly and management is very approachable.

My mother moved in to Ladybrook Manor 4 weeks ago and we have been delighted with everything. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and efficient and the level of care they exude has been very reassuring. The mobility and strength that my mother has regained since arriving has been a testament to this - there are plenty of stimulating activities and this really helps integration into the facility and getting to know others. Thank you to all the staff and management - it's much appreciated.

The staff are friendly and give very good care. My mother is very happy there. The food is good, and the residents are encouraged to go down to the dining room so they can socialise with the other residents. The activities they provide for the residents are excellent, and help to keep them mentally active. Ladybrook Manor is a happy home, and really care for their residents.

I feel very happy that my gran is living at Ladybrook Manor and receiving excellent care support. From speaking to my gran I know she feels the same way, she also feels she is treated with dignity in her old age.

Very impressed with Ladybrook Manor. The very professional friendly staff, the activities and the quality of the room. All are great. Being able to provide some of your own furniture for the room has made it a very comfortable homely place.

I will always be so grateful to everyone at Ladybrook for all their hard work.

The only slight issue was with washing and clothes being mixed up.

The atmosphere in the home is bright and cheerful and it feels very welcoming.

My Mum is very happy at the home. She is very well cared for. The facilities are exceptional. The majority of the reception staff know me by name and are always welcoming. The carers and managers are always welcoming, polite and helpful. It is lovely to see all the staff speaking not only to my Mum by name but to the other residents. It shows such care and attention to each individual. My only criticism is that the home does not seem to have an effective system for tracking clothes and belongings of residents that have gone missing, despite being labelled.

phone calls , messages or emails . My mum is always greeted with a smile and / or a positive comment . Staff are quick to assess my mum's mood / needs at all times . We are able to ring up at anytime with a question , a reminder for my mum or to pass on information, and are confident that it will help dealt with as soon as is possible .

Prior to lunch on 12 August 2025 I was waiting at a space of the long corridor to be in time for my lunch. I came up behind a fellow guest, pushing his self, pushing his trolley. I called out that I was attempting to pass on his right as shown level on his R.H. since he shouted out causing me to jump instantly. This left me dizzy. When I reached the dining room I was quite faint. I called out fortunately one of the members of staff chatting to a lady member it took a lot of minutes to get a response despite explaining I was going to pass out. I spent the afternoon resting and had little or no food.

When visiting my wifes brother we have found the staff both helpful and friendly with a positive approach to residents. The bistro offers an informed space and comfortable environment to have a coffee and chat to family with a pleasant ambiance.
