Excellent
Mum joined Sunrise Feb 21 following the death of my father and Covid, all within the same week. Sunrise has welcomed Mum and our family, and she has settled in amazingly well. She often comments on how nice the food is and that it is like being in a hotel. There are lots of activities, day trips and entertainment available for residents, which they can choose to be involved in. Sometimes, due to low staff numbers, there can be a delay before staff respond to a 'button call', which is a concern. Staff are pleasant and polite, and senior staff are approachable with any concerns you may have. Their response, particularly from GM, is honest and transparent and has always been professional and proactive. Healthcare and medically, Sunrise continue to support Mum's ongoing care plan and usually communicate changes or concerns, but I have had to chase up a couple of times. This is our first experience of the care sector, and during very difficult times, but overall, we are happy with Sunrise.
Our dining team will be thrilled with your lovely comments. Here at Sunrise of Bramhall, we cater for each resident based on preferences and dietary requirements. Hearing this positive feedback is greatly appreciated by everyone in the community.
Everybody has been most caring throughout her stay at Sunrise and I couldn’t have asked for anything more from the carers to the managers and the receptionist they are all first-class
Thank you for making this difficult period a lot easier by keeping her so safe and looking after her.
The team here at Sunrise of Bramhall would firstly like to thank you for your kind words. We strive, as a team, to work closely with our residents so we can provide the very best care for each individual in our home, and we are glad to have made a difference.
My father has just returned home after spending five weeks in Sunrise Bramhall. We were made to feel so welcome by the managers and staff, and have been very happy with the care he has received during these last few weeks. I have been allowed to visit him after being tested for Covid, and as he was in isolation for the first two weeks of his stay, these visits were so important to him. He had a lovely room, with a balcony overlooking the garden, and this was kept spotlessly clean throughout. As for the meals, he thoroughly enjoyed his lovely bowls of soup and the desserts but felt the main course was a little less appetising. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in caring for Dad, and special thanks to the Deputy Manager and Director of Community Relations who went the extra mile to ensure dad enjoyed his stay and that I was happy with the care he received.
Thank you for taking the time to review Sunrise of Bramhall. Your feedback is important to us, as is the care and well-being of all of our residents. We were delighted to have your father stay with us and looking forward to welcoming him back in the future if his requirements change.
Over the last difficult year, it has been a great comfort to know that my mother is safe, but also that there are staff who will spend time chatting to her, engaging her in things that are of interest to her and most important of all providing her with an opportunity to smile and laugh each day.
Thank you for leaving us such a wonderful review; our team members will be thrilled to hear your positive feedback. Here at Sunrise of Bramhall, we pride ourselves on understanding our residents needs to respect their independence and give a real sense of being at home.
My mother has been a resident at Sunrise Care Home in Bramhall for the last two and a half years. She joined the community at a time when she was unable to manage her day to day life in her own home. She was welcomed from the start by a friendly, caring staff. Though they have at all times respected her dignity, her desire for independence where possible and sense of self-worth, they have done all they can to meet her needs. Everyone from the kitchen and housekeeping staff to her carers has treated her with kindness. She regards the staff as her friends, as well as her helpers. As a frequent visitor to the home prior to the Covid outbreak last year, I have always been made welcome by friendly staff. During the epidemic, the home has done all it could to keep residents and staff safe and for this we thank them. As a family, we are kept well informed of any developments/changes within the home and this has been reassuring for us, knowing that my mother has been safe.
We believe our carers at Sunrise of Bramhall go the extra mile and for you to recognise this is invaluable to our team. We endeavour to provide the very best care for our residents, thank you for your kind words.
Grandma has been happily living in the assisted living community at Sunrise of Bramhall for nearly 3 years. The around the clock professional care and attention she receives from the dedicated manager and the whole team is superb. During the current pandemic, we have been blessed that she is so well cared for and kept safe by the attentive team. We have received regular updates via email, letter, Skype and telephone calls which have been a great reassurance. Drive through visits and window visits were quickly implemented during the 1st national lockdown. Sunrise now have a beautiful partitioned sunroom for safe visiting. The suites and public areas are extremely well appointed and kept beautifully clean. The restaurant and standard of meals are great. A varied and full programme of activities is available too. But most importantly, Grandma is happy and the care and attention from the whole team are fantastic. Thank you to everyone at Sunrise.

Here at Sunrise of Bramhall we have worked hard to ensure all of residents receive the highest quality of care and security within our home. Thank you for your kind words, these will be shared with the team and we look forward to welcoming you back to our home soon.
The surroundings are luxurious, and the accommodation very comfortable and well-appointed. They report the food to be very good, and that is high praise from fussy eaters. What makes the home exceptional though is their staff. Without exception, they have been highly attentive, compassionate, efficient and effective particularly when tested with an unfortunate run of my parent's medical emergencies. They really have gone 'above and beyond' not only with my parents but also in supporting me, keeping me fully informed and consulting with me on issues that affect my parents. As my parent's needs have rapidly changed due to deteriorating medical circumstances, they have been flexible enough to accommodate this. I really can't praise the staff enough.

Sunrise is very friendly and welcoming. As soon as you walk through the door, you are greeted in a friendly, cheery way and made to feel very welcome. The team at Sunrise are professional, friendly and very caring. My Mum moved into Sunrise 3-years ago, which was a difficult move as she had to move out of her bungalow, but with the kindness received from the staff, she soon settled. Mum has a lovely room which looks out over the garden, and she loves sitting outside during the summer. She receives excellent care and attention. It has been very difficult for Mum during these last few months with the Covid virus as we have been unable to go in to see her, but we have been able to arrange Facetime calls with her and have been using the drive-through facility several times. We are very grateful to Sunrise for making this possible and for looking after Mum so very well. Thank you.
We believe our carers at Sunrise of Bramhall go the extra mile and for you to recognise this is invaluable to our team. We endeavour to provide the very best care for our residents, thank you for your kind words.
She expressed on a number of occasions that she was very happy in her new home.
Sadly her health has further deteriorated both physically and mentally, and in January 2020, she was transferred into the Reminiscence (Dementia) Unit, where she now receives even closer care and attention than before and is treated with the love and affection that you would expect in a family home.
Now, having reached 99, she is rapidly fading, but we shall always be very grateful for her dedicated care and attention in Sunrise.

My Dad has been in Sunrise for just over a year now. The care he receives in unprecedented. Dad suffers from dementia, and while he is often confused, he clearly is very happy. During the Lockdown, while I have been unable to go in to see him, I have been able to arrange a Facetime chat with him, and been able to use the drive-through facility on a number of occasions. Very, very satisfied. Thank you.

Both my parents are residents and they have a lovely suite of rooms with a sitting room with views over the hills. The staff are very caring and we couldn't be happier with the choice of care home. There are lovely communal rooms and plenty of activities. Sunrise is close to the centre of Bramhall with all the facilities that offers.
Our team here at Sunrise of Bramhall are so grateful for your comments. Our activities co-ordinator and the team work hard to provide engaging and stimulating activities for all of our residents, we are so glad to hear the activities provided are one of your favorite elements of our home.

During the current crisis, the home was locked down early and they procured adequate supplies of PPE. The precautions that they have taken against infection are impressive.
We are thrilled with your positive experience and are so glad your parents have settled in so well to Sunrise of Bramhall. We take great pride in delivering high quality care and providing facilities to our residents. Your recognition of this is invaluable to our team, thank you.
My dad moved into Sunrise of Bramhall just over a year ago. Sunrise provides a fantastic care facility. When Dad first moved in he was in Assisted Living and enjoyed some independent living whilst also being cared for. After a spell in hospital following a fall where Dad broke his hip, he moved into Reminiscence and has received outstanding nursing care and help to get him back on his feet. On a day to day basis, there are plenty of activities for Dad to take part in. Since lockdown happened and we have been unable to visit, knowing that Dad is safe and well cared for is very reassuring. The systems for controlling infection are meticulous. Sunrise have worked hard to introduce a system where we can do a 'Drive-by' visit which is wonderful. Seeing Dad after three months looking healthy and well cared for is fantastic and I cannot recommend Sunrise of Bramhall enough.
