My aunt was placed in this care home from the hospital as she needed 24-hour care. While she was only in for 4 days before she passed away, the care and compassion from all the staff were impeccable. They kept us informed at all times by phoning if there were any major changes. As well as caring for my aunt, they always had time for us - the family - as well.
The care home is very clean and the staff are very friendly, they go above and beyond. The home accommodates all the needs of the residents and family members. Hygiene is well maintained and staff try to accommodate any requests made by the family.
The home is comfortable, clean and the staff are compassionate, when dealing with the resident and their family.
If your loved one, needs a peaceful and dignified space for recovery from illness or end of life care, then I highly recommend Stamford Court.
The staff was very friendly the home was clean and fresh and my son is very happy there
The care from the daytime staff is very good. I think it can be more difficult for agency staff who may work at night to develop a relationship with residents. Staff have been very happy to accommodate my mum's needs and go out of their way to help mum to be happy and settled. If we have any questions or want to chat about mum's needs they are very happy to discuss these with us. The staff work really hard to help residents and their families feel relaxed and supported.
Our mum became a resident of Stamford Court in September 2023 following a traumatic illness. To say her care was exemplary is an understatement! The carers really care and the nurses are fabulous! As a family we were able to breathe and know that Mum was being looked after and she was no longer scared. This allowed us to have the time we needed with her with no worries or concerns. Mum sadly passed away at the end of March but she went happy and without fear! Thank you for all that you did for her and for us.
My mum has been a resident of Stamford Court for the last three years and I have nothing but praise for the devotion, care and dignity they show to Mum. My mum has full mental capacity and often says how amazing they all are. My dad also recently stayed at Stamford Court for three weeks respite whilst I was on holiday. The staff went out of their way to make sure he felt welcome and comfortable during his stay. My dad's words on my return were the staff were excellent, so kind and caring.
The staff are very friendly and Mum looks well looked after. Visiting is very flexible and Mum seems very happy. The furniture in the room could be better as the drawers are falling apart but this is a minor issue.
Thank you for your review; we value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. HC-One would like to sincerely apologize that you have found furniture in an unsatisfactory state. We strive to offer kind, safe care and we would welcome the opportunity, should you so wish, to...
We feel fortunate to have Mum in Stamford Court. We know Mum's condition is testing for the staff, but they deal with this extremely well and look after Mum brilliantly. We don't think Mum would be with us without the care she has received at Stamford Court over her residency close to 4 years now.
I found the staff to be exceptional. They were all lovely with my mum. She was only there for a couple of weeks and has sadly passed away now. They recognised she had a chest infection and called an ambulance. The care was excellent and I would recommend this care home.
My mum is so happy at Stamford Court. She is looked after so well and feels safe and secure. Even when short-staffed she is looked after in a timely manner. The staff go the extra mile, especially as her appetite can be a bit up and down.
On visiting my mother-in-law my experience here has been very positive. The care and attention necessary have always been available when she requires it. As far as I am aware her needs are being met.
The staff have taken a lot of interest in my dad, his needs and interests, which provides comfort to us as a family. I feel comfortable that he is being cared for when I’m not there, and he appears to have settled quickly. The facilities and environment are great for the residents. It’s a nice, calm environment, not noisy or loud, and feels like a home.
It was a joy to visit my gran at Stamford Court. On arrival, the staff were friendly and helpful and welcomed me and my daughter into the home. We spent time with my gran, who only has positives to say about all the staff. Staff seemed busy, but not overworked, all appeared positive. The home is spotlessly clean and smart throughout. Thank you so much to all the staff.
We are so grateful and thankful for the care that you all gave whilst Dad was with you. You are all fantastic and really caring. Stamford Court is really a caring nursing home.
The Stamford Court care home is wonderfully clean. The staff are amazing and helpful. Residents are treated with dignity at all times.
Comforted in knowing so well cared for.
My mother has been a resident at Stamford Court for 12 months, during which time she has received extremely good care and support from dedicated staff. She feels comfortable, content and secure in her new environment, which gives us confidence that she is in good hands.
The staff are all lovely and friendly. My mum always has clean bedding whenever I visit. I wouldn't want her to be anywhere else.
Good vibe in the home with friendly staff. Mother feels happy and at ease. Overall, very happy.
