My mum is well looked after at Dean Wood Manor. Her Alzheimer's is advanced and she can no longer communicate her needs. However the staff do everything they can to anticipate them.

I find Dean Wood Manor very well run it is always spotless, the staff are brilliant very caring and always have time for the people they are caring for, and brilliant with my husband I know he is in the best place thanks to the Manager and all the staff

A big thank you to the manager and all her team at Dean Wood Manor for the constant care, compassion and going that extra mile for all the residents. Loving the new transformation of the home with the book library, the sensory activities and welcoming 2 new additions to the home - Daisy and Blossom
- the residents love them. On a personal note, thank you for making my mum's 85th birthday very special.

My mother has been resident at this home since December 2023 and a member of our family has visited almost every day. The whole family is very happy with the level of care she has received during this time it has exceeded any of her previous placements and Mum seems happy and settled. The staff are
caring, attentive to the resident's needs and requirements, and always welcoming to myself and other family members.
My only criticism would be the standard of the tea beverage served at some meals. I understand that it cannot be overly hot due to health and safety reasons but sometimes it is very weak and insipid.

My wife has been a resident for 9 months and I am very pleased with her care, she is settled in the home and is calm and relaxed in her surroundings. Everywhere is very clean, all the staff are diligent, welcoming and especially caring. Special thanks to the Activities Coordinator who goes out of her
way to get residents involved and is so enthusiastic in everything she does. I would confidently recommend the home to anyone.

We moved my father to Dean Wood Manor in January and the turnaround in his general health and well-being has been nothing short of miraculous. I put that down to the care and support given by the team. Communication is great from the manager and all of the staff and they do an exceptional job in looking
after and caring for the needs of both of my parents (Mum has been there for many years). My father was deteriorating fast in a previous care facility but since moving to Dean Wood he has put on several kilos in weight, is more lively and has settled extremely well. I cannot speak highly enough of the team and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this home to anyone wishing to feel secure in a professional and dedicated team looking after their family members.

I just want to say thank you to all the staff for looking after my mum for ten years.
The home is excellent, staff always kind, and they treat everyone like family. Mum's room was always clean, but most importantly, Mum was looked after from day one. Even at the end, they stood outside when Mum made
her final journey; I will never forget what they did for us from the beginning to the end. Thank you, Dean Wood Manor.

All the carers are very good, pleasant and very helpful.
Cleaners do a very good job and are hard workers. As is everyone else. I have never had any complaints or disagreements with any of the staff and my wife is very happy there.

I find the manager to be excellent with the people, she is very caring. The staff are also very good. They always make me a cuppa, I think that it is a happy home, and I am so grateful that they care for my husband.

My partner was accepted into the home on the understanding he couldn't walk, the wonderful staff within two days had him walking, which was wonderful to see. The level of care he receives is outstanding, all the lovely staff go way above and beyond to help him even when his behaviour is difficult. He
is always dressed, clean and tidy. The manager does an exceptional job always helpful and goes out of her way for her residents and also the visitors. I am so grateful my partner was able to go to this wonderful home. Would definitely recommend.

Grandma has been a resident for several weeks now and she settled in so well and we can tell she is well looked after.
At first we, as a family, were worried that this move wouldn’t be for her as she has had issues in a previous home but we have had no concerns at all. She spends time in the communal
areas and engages in activities with the other residents.
We are thankful for all the staff's support in making this such a smooth transition.

From the moment you walk in you are met with smiles and friendliness from the manager to the caretaker! Always informative to talk to and their interactions with residents is absolutely first-class. The residents have obvious love and respect for the care staff and is a joy to behold! I wouldn't hesitate

He seems very content when we have been and seems to have a good relationship with the staff. They are all very attentive and respectful to the residents and the atmosphere there is very good. My friend has been a resident here for a while now and I have visited her on several occasions. On every visit I am impressed by the care and attention given to my friend and also to the other residents. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for the staff and they go out of their way to ensure everyone
is as settled as possible and as happy as they can be. No one wants to see their friend or relative in a care home, but just knowing that they are really cared for and looked after makes such a huge difference. Ten out of ten from me.

My brother is only 58 and has been with Dean Wood Manor just over 12 months. The level of care he receives is outstanding. All the staff go above and beyond. He is always dressed smart and clean.
The manger is always at hand and goes out of her way to make sure all her residents are happy and all their
needs are met.
I would definitely recommend this care home as 5 stars.

All staff are caring to all residents and understand all different aspects of all the residents who have different needs. This care home is situated with lovely surroundings and well-manicured gardens and knowing my dad is well looked after and cared for which is a hard thing to do.

I am so pleased that we as a family, were able to secure a place for my lovely husband at this wonderful home.
I've watched the staff when they haven’t seen me with some residents, and they are so kind and caring.
The place is very clean, the food is worked out, so much protein, so much carbohydrate,
a sweet dessert, my husband eats every meal.
He seems happy, he tells me he’s happy, so you can’t get better than that can you.

Dad has been in Dean Wood Manor for nearly two years, he is so well looked after by the brilliant staff who are all so kind and caring, nothing is to much trouble for them. Dad is always treated with respect and dignity... what a great team they are.
