Overall Experience
I am the brother in law of Donald one of the care users in Glenaire Manor. He has terminal cancer, is partially sighted and also has bipolar disorder. The staff there are kind, considerate and always cheerful towards him at all times. They provide warmth and care far beyond our expectations.

I am the brother in law of Donald one of the care users in Glenaire Manor. He has terminal cancer, is partially sighted and also has bipolar disorder. The staff there are kind, considerate and always cheerful towards him at all times. They provide warmth and care far beyond our expectations.
They often put on entertainment such as singers, bingo etc and invite Friends and Family to come and participate alongside al of the residents. This is all done with 100% enthusiasm from them all .
The home is spotlessly clean and there are photos and drawings up that the residents have done which makes the environment homely and welcoming.
The staff offer advice to us on how to broach difficult subjects with Donald which is so helpful and they always get it right as know him so well .
They often put on entertainment such as singers, bingo etc and invite Friends and Family to come and participate alongside al of the residents. This is all done with 100% enthusiasm from them all .
The home is spotlessly clean and there are photos and drawings up that the residents have done which makes the environment homely and welcoming.
The staff offer advice to us on how to broach difficult subjects with Donald which is so helpful and they always get it right as know him so well .
We can't thank them all enough and feel so lucky to have found them .

I cannot praise the team at Glenaire Manor enough for the incredible care and compassion they show towards my older brother Donald.
Donald is living with terminal cancer and bipolar disorder, and the staff have treated him with such kindness, dignity and understanding. They see the person behind the illnesses and go above and beyond to make sure he feels valued, supported and cared for.
The team don't just provide care - they create moments of happiness and connection. They organise singers, activities and special get-togethers with friends and family, helping Donald make precious memories and feel surrounded by love.
The staff are always willing to listen, offer advice and guide us through situations involving Donald. Their patience, knowledge and reassurance have been a huge support .
Every member of staff we have met has shown genuine warmth and dedication. It is clear that caring for residents is more than just a job to them - it comes from the heart.

My brother is very happy in Glenarie Manor Nursing Home and regards it as home. The staff cater to his needs and whenever I have been there have been very courteous and hospitable. The current manager is very approachable as are all the staff, she is trying to get more 'get-togethers' sorted. We were there in Summer for a buffet and last Saturday when she arranged a Christmas event. It gives everyone the opportunity to speak to the staff and management. Couldn't be happier with the service provided.

My brother has been a resident at Glenarie Manor Nursing Home for many years. He loves it there and sees it as his home and the staff and other residents as his family. They treat him so well and also us when we visit or attend one of the family days they put on there. The staff keep me informed on his care at all times and are so supportive and kind. Even when he can be a little awkward at times. I love going to Glenarie as it is so welcoming, warm and friendly and a real home from home. It's outstanding!
