In my personal opinion, the home and staff are very accommodating. They greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome. The home is spotless, there is a very nice feeling to it. The patients all seem very happy because they are being looked after properly. I as a visitor rate the home a big 10/10. Thank you.

I am happy with the way I am looked after. The staff are all very nice and treat me with respect.

I have asked for my meal times to be changed, and this has been implemented without any difficulty.

Mum went to Willow Gardens straight from hospital for end-of-life care. We couldn't have wished for a better place. It exceeded all our expectations. We are so grateful to all the staff for looking after our Mum till she passed away. The care shown was genuine, not just to the residents but to the families as well. We were welcomed whenever we visited, we felt cared for too. Spotlessly clean, bright and comfortable, lovely meals and a kind and cheerful workforce, willing and able to spend time with everyone. The residents were happy and content, you can't make the atmosphere calm and relaxed unless it actually is. Our mum was comfortable and settled and always had a smile on her face! If you can secure a place at Willow Gardens, please accept it, you will not be disappointed. Your loved one will not only be looked after but cared for. This is definitely a place to call home even if it's only for a short time. We would like to thank the manager and all the staff again for their care and kindness during Mum's final months. We greatly appreciate you all.

My mum really enjoyed the activities over the Easter period. She enjoyed wearing her Easter bonnet and engaging in games of bingo and pass the parcel.

The Easter fete was a brilliant day for everybody.

My father was moved to Willow Gardens from a previous care home that offered poor service. Willow Gardens was recommended by a friend with a relative there. From the first moment, until Dad passed recently, the care, attention and respect he received was wonderful. The manager is enthusiastic and committed as are the staff, nothing is too much trouble. Dad’s health had declined but the nursing care he received was first-class. As a family, we are so grateful that Dad’s last few months were spent at Willow Gardens. Keep up the wonderful work you are all stars.

My brother-in-law came from a very caring, loving home with his family. The move into care was a huge leap for him but the staff from day one made him feel very safe and settled. I live a distance away but am in regular contact. If the staff have any concerns about him they always get in touch. All his needs are catered for and I am very pleased with the care he receives.

My mum has to move out of another nursing home last year, which was also run by the same company, Sanctuary Care. It was an extremely difficult time, worrying over the move. The staff were really caring and welcoming and the manager at the time was very professional and understanding. They love my mum. Now there is a new manager, she has been very professional and informative. Kind and caring. On 19th November 2022, Mum has been here one year and I am happy with her placement.

I am very pleased with how my brother is treated both medically and socially. He is in very good hands. I attended when they were playing "higher or lower", and he was very animated and clearly enjoying himself. Thanks for what you do.

My mum has very complex issues, especially around chronic pain - the staff try to do as much as they can to keep her comfortable and settled. If I need anything they will always help me as much as they can. It has a nice atmosphere in the home. There is never a problem talking to the nurses and carers when you need them and they always treat my mum with dignity.

We cannot fault the care and compassion shown to our mum at Willow Gardens. All the staff, from the cleaning lady to the manager, are lovely. All staff are attentive and efficient. During a very recent illness, the care and compassion shown by all the staff were outstanding. Mum is always treated with the utmost dignity at all times. The nursing staff during Mum's illness were fabulous.

Due to covid, I have not been able to visit my sister as often as I would have wished to. However, since the easing of restrictions, I have found the home very accommodating in arranging visits where allowed. My sister tells me that she is happy and feels safe, secure and has no complaints whatsoever.

Mum was admitted for post operative convalescent care. The staff and management at Willow Gardens are professional yet friendly, kind and efficient. The home itself is spotlessly clean. I have total peace of mind knowing that my mum is in safe kind hands. All credit to the manager and her staff! Thank you all.

During the lockdown, our Mum needed to be admitted in to a Nursing Home which was a difficult time for us all but was made so easy by the wonderful staff at Willow Gardens.

From day one, our Mum settled straight away and she is clearly very happy in there. This was a huge relief to us all, given that our Mum is a fiercely independent individual and we dreaded how she would feel about going in to a Nursing Home but we needn't have worried. Willow Gardens offers everything you could wish for in a Nursing Home, with dedicated staff who go out of their way to make our Mum feel special, cared for, happy and comfortable. They are very committed to their jobs, even as far as getting personal visits from the chef, as she has special dietary requirements. They've done their best through these difficult times and I can only applaud them, especially the Manager who goes out of her way to ensure that your family member gets the best care, as we would all want for our loved ones.

When searching for a care/nursing home for our mum, this home ticked all the boxes we were looking for. It is very clean, the rooms are bright and a decent size. Both upstairs and downstairs lounges are bright and nicely furnished. Most of all, the home is welcoming and the staff are lovely. Nothing is too much trouble and they are very patient and caring. The nurses are lovely and proficient and you can ring up anytime and ask how your family member is. I would recommend this home, without a doubt.

I can not thank the staff enough for the continuous exceptional care they have given my relative. During what has been a terrifying time, they have all gone above and beyond to make sure they were kept safe. I and other family members are extremely appreciative of the home being closed so quickly as this has kept all residents safe.
They created a safe clean space for families to visit, and are always finding ways to help families visit when they can. As many have jobs with shift work, the staff have been very accommodating with dates and times.
Staff are always professional and have worked tirelessly to answer phones and give updates to families.
The home itself is always spotless.
I can't thank them enough for the excellent standards of care that have been continuously provided.
Through what has been a terrifying time for all, has been made easier through the dedication and professionalism of all staff. I would highly recommend this home to anyone.

Thank you for everything.

Our mother was admitted to Willow Gardens last September 2019.
And gained a permanent place in January 2020.
The home itself is clean and tidy. And they have activities most days. Most of the staff are lovely, and will help you all they can,
Because of COVID-19, we couldn't see her till recently, but that is very sparse. You have to book so far in advance, but that isn't suitable for myself and husband as we don't know our shifts from 1 week till the next. So only had one visit since the lockdown. We are both bus drivers before lockdown though we could visit most times (apart from meal times).

We would have loved to have had a video chat, they did ask us for our details but this never came off. Which we were disappointed with, as this would have been wonderful to chat with Mum.

Reply from Fae Doherty, Senior Marketing Officer at Willow Gardens Residential and Nursing Home

Thank you for your kind words about our home and team. I am sorry to hear that you haven't been able to see mum yet, however, our pre-booking system is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff and our residents. I will pass on your feedback about the video chat, as this is something our homes have been looking to provide. Best wishes, Fae.
