My mother has been a resident since 2nd August 2020 and has received excellent care from staff in her short time. Always been able to receive updates on mother’s condition and well-being in her time as a resident.

Always been received with warmth and understanding over the past 18 months. Very satisfied with my brother's care. All precautions were taken on this visit - nothing was too much trouble.

The manager and all his staff took great care of my late Father, who became very difficult to deal with in his last few months as dementia set in. I cannot praise enough the way my father was looked after. The home is beautifully decorated and kept spotlessly clean. Residents are treated with respect
and their views listened to. The manager even made trips to the hospital to collect new hearing aids for my father. The dining room was more like a good restaurant and my Father couldn't praise the food enough. I have recommended The Brunswick to a number of friends and will be happy to do so in the future.

My initial review was back in August 2018, which can be read below. A further 5 months have passed. During this intervening period my dad has, for various reasons, been 'a handful' and very demanding regarding staff time. Due mainly to the continual caring environment and excellent staff, dad has now
settled down. We don't know what the future holds but we do know that The Brunswick staff have been terrific in their approach to settling dad to date. Thank you all very much - it is greatly appreciated.

We credit this Home (that is to say it ’s management, staff, environment, food etc) with the 100% improvement in Dad’s physical and mental state after his discharge from a 7-week hospital stay. When he arrived he had to be hoisted from chair to bed and was very confused. He didn’t want to socialise
and had lost a lot of weight. Now he is as mobile as he wants to be, is a social as he pleases (usually very!), loves the staff and the food and his cosy room, which has all his pictures and belongings in. He sat outside in the summer, goes on the trips out if he feels like it and dines in his room if he’s watching the football. The staff are caring and keep us informed. Not sure what else we can say.......

My Father has been at The Brunswick since January. Although my brother and his family are local, I live in Southampton. When I visit I have always been impressed by the friendliness and courtesy that all the staff show to me and the residents. Personally, I think the “very on the ball” manager and the
rest of the whole team do a great job with all the residents which I am sure, at times, is challenging. They show great inter-personal skills, patience and a willingness to do everything they can to ensure the resident's happiness, well being and safety. The Brunswick is a beautiful building; always spotless and a lovely warm atmosphere. I feel very confident when I go, that Dad is being so well looked after, safe and no falls in the last nine months since he moved in - incredible considering his general immobility and age. I would highly recommend The Brunswick.
