My father has seemed very relaxed and happy during this unsettled period. Most, if not all of the credit for this must go to the staff of the Tithebarn. Recently my father said to me that he had made a number of friends in your home.

I find the staff very caring and helpful.

My Mum has been a resident here for over 2 years. The family are extremely pleased with the care that she has received, it really does feel like her home. The staff are excellent very friendly, helpful and efficient, they really care about the residents. I visit weekly and have noticed that there is always a staff member in the lounge keeping an eye on the residents or to speak to visitors.

The activities are really excellent, apart from the obvious quizzes and crafts they also take the residents out. Mum has been on numerous trips, the highlights being the puppet show in Liverpool and a trip to the zoo (her Dreams come true wish). Mum is treated as an individual and looked after accordingly. I have friends with parents in other care homes, talking to them I feel very lucky that mum is at The Tithebarn. Nowhere i is perfect but The Tithebarn comes very close.

My mum moved to The Tithebarn five months ago. During that time, she received first-class care. She started going out on little trips which after being housebound and alone for many years was a big step for her. Sadly her health deteriorated, and she died last week. The care and love she received, during her last days, were really appreciated, by all the family and were outstanding.

The care received in Tithebarn is brilliant, food good, residents are stimulated. Outings for the residents. The gardens are lovely and the residents can sit out in the fresh air.

Evening meals selection is limited. Soup and sandwiches most evenings, not enough selection.

Residents' clothes are still going missing. Relatives need to be kept informed if and when there is a change in medication or a visit from the GP.

The Tithebarn has a lovely atmosphere, more a cosy home than a care home. Managers and staff are all very supportive, caring and always professional. Any problem is looked into promptly and resolved. All the staff go that extra mile for the residents to ensure a safe and happy environment.

In the 6 months since I gave up my home and became a resident of The Tithebarn I have been very grateful for the support given to me in what has been a difficult time leaving home. I am now settled down as a resident with new friends.

I find staff and management both caring, helpful and easy to approach if I have any problems regarding my sister. I can always speak to somebody about it. The home is exceptionally clean and no smells. Would recommend it to any future residents, would like to go there if I needed to be looked after in the future.

As far as I can see, the Tithebarn is a very good home. My family have no real concerns about how mum is treated. If we did, we wouldn't hesitate to bring up any points. Yes, the fees are much higher but we think the difference is worth it. The staff seem open to suggestions and ideas. Mum is always well dressed and hair is done nicely.

First class treatment. Minor matter - sausages not of the prime quality otherwise I am generally very pleased. Staff are considerate, helpful and friendly. Accommodation is sufficient for my needs.

The home is perfect, the grounds, lounges and our individual rooms.
We can bring our personal goods to make it like home.
The staff are so good. Like all jobs, you always find one who likes to let everyone else do the main work.
Food wise, a good variation, well cooked.
Listen to anything we suggest and the activities are super.

We all work forward to the many variations we have.

My mother went into Tithebarn for respite care in February 2016 following hospitalisation after a fall at home. We have seen that she was well cared for on a daily basis. She was always happy residing there, as she had wished, for many years, to come to Tithebarn when the time came for her to leave her own home - a recommendation in itself for someone who had visited friends in many care and nursing homes. Sadly, mum passed away in January 2017.
The family were grateful for the amazing attention that the staff provided for her in her final weeks of life. She was kept very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble even though she needed a lot of nursing at times. Members of the family were made welcome at all times of the day and night without us feeling that we were in the way and were impressed by the little things like a sympathetic word and the many cups of tea which came from all staff, not just the carers.

The care received from staff has always been exemplary. There is truly a family atmosphere at Tithebarn and even when I now come to visit another relative, I still get an amazing, personal welcome from the carers, which I appreciate so much.

I cannot praise the management and staff enough for the on-going care and support given not just to my aunt but also to myself. Overall, The Tithebarn is a shining example of how a care home should be run.

Both my parents were admitted to the Tithebarn as emergency admissions, neither of them ever wishing to enter the care environment. They both settled in extremely well and were treated extremely well by the wonderful staff that work there.
The staff showed such care for mum when she was in her last days, they also supported my dad and the family, ensuring all our needs were met.

Unbelievably my dad went on to last for a further 16 months without his partner of 60 years, this is only due to the excellent care provided at Tithebarn. I would recommend this home without reservation.
