I had to leave my husband in respite care for 2 weeks while we were having building work done at home.
It was an eye opening experience as to the amount of work the staff have in caring for the residents. They work so hard & with empathy towards the residents. The food is plentiful & of good quality
but maybe a little more help with residents needing to have their food cut up for them.
In general I was pleased with the care given to my husband as he didn't settle particularly well. I would take him there again if it becomes necessary & if they had the space obviously.

What a lovely home, just what I had been looking for. Perfect. Can't fault all I had been looking for my husband in a short he has looked so well. Staff are brilliant in all aspects of their care. Home is perfect beautiful feel so comfortable when you walk in, and food is beautifully made, endless food
served during the day. Well run in all areas. Juts nothing to find fault with would recommend to anyone looking their the best home.

I come to see my dad every day. He seems happy and content and is always clean and well dressed. The staff are professional and friendly and treat him with dignity and respect. The cleaners do a great job in keeping the place spotless.
He is well fed the meals look good as well.

My brother has lived at Leighton Court since last July.
The atmosphere in the home that of a wee-regulated family and it was this ambience which led me to choose it.
I think very highly of all the staff whose knowledge of and care for the residents is second to none. Whoever appoints and trains staff
is going a good job.
On a number of occasions, my brother has needed a hospital visit or intervention and the home has been quick to respond and diligent in informing family.
I have appreciated talks on dementia etc, and the chance to meet other relatives.
Freedom of choice for residents means disappearance (usually temporary) of private property but my brother needs an EMI home I'm glad we found this home.

Leighton Court Nursing Home staff are kind caring and so welcoming. I would recommend this homely home to anyone. Love the entertainment and it's activities co-ordinator.
I don't think my husband could be in a better place. I can visit him at any time. His energy and speech have returned and it's given
him the safe environment and freedom he craves.

My husband has been in Leighton Court for three months. He has settled in ok my husband has some challenging needs and the carers treat him with dignity and kindness. The nurses in charge listen to you if you have any concerns eg. medication. The food is all homemade really tasty. The laundry comes
back lovely and fresh. The rooms are cleaned daily and are nice. There are activities every day. As a family we are happy we chose this home.

Very worried when Mum had to go into a nursing home. Mum went into Leighton Court and has settled in really well. The staff are amazing, very caring, very loving and compassionate. Mum is staying at the home full time and we are very pleased as she will be looked after very well and safe.

We couldn't have found a nicer, friendlier, kinder and more caring place than Leighton Court.
The manager and all staff have made a very difficult time much easier and nicer for us whilst moving our mum into 24-hour care that she now needs. Mum has only been here a couple of days, yet she has come
on leaps and bounds i.e. eating better and looks really well within herself.

6 months my dad has been a resident, he has settled in so well and is shown a lot of love by most of the staff.
The activities are brilliant. We look forward each week to joining in.
It was a decision we didn't want to make putting Dad in a care home.
But we know we have one of the best.
Even though
Leighton Court is new to elderly mentally infirm dementia, I am very happy with how this new facility has now become my Dad's new home, we love coming to visit Dad and his friends.

Our dad was admitted on April the 4th 2024. He has settled quite well, due to the lovely caring staff. They have got to know his ways. Dad feels very at home on most days, he obviously has some ups and downs but I feel confident that his needs are met. Out of many care establishments I visited this
one exceeds in all areas, it's not a care home it's my dad's home.

My mum moved into Leighton Court in November 2023. She has received excellent care and support from the wonderful staff. The care home is always spotless and staff always very accommodating. Really impressed with the number of activities that are put on for the residents. Highly recommend Leighton Court.
