Leighton Court Care Home

Since moving in January, mother has settled in very well with her Parkinsons. As a family, we were concerned initially about how Mum would adjust but the staff at the home made her feel welcome despite the language barrier. We had seen a lot of homes prior to choosing Leighton Court Care Home. The staff and the management must be commended on the high level of care and compassion shown to Mum.

My dad came to Leighton Court after a fall and a broken hip. In his words, he can't fault the care and attention he's received. He's also enjoying the food.

Excellent in every way. Meals, four-star plus.

The staff are superb. Not mithering me but are there when I need them. They are so friendly and the least thing is no bother to them.

Very pleased with the care my mum is receiving after having been a resident for over a year now. The staff are so nice and very caring. Very happy we chose this care home. My auntie is also a resident and it is lovely to know they are together and can see each other, although, sadly neither of them really remembers. Couldn’t ask for more from a care home. My father was well cared for by the carers at Leighton Court, especially the deputy manager, who took the time to get to know my dad and chat with him. This was of particular importance because my father tested positive for COVID 19 during his stay and became very lonely due to the isolation. My dad also really enjoyed the food.

I was a bit apprehensive coming to a care home for rehabilitation, especially after being so poorly at the previous hospital. I have to say the care, respect, dignity and overall rehabilitation far exceeded what I was expecting. From day one, the welcome and kind treatment was fantastic. It really is a wonderful place and the staff far exceeded my expectations. I could not have recovered so well without their help and kindness. All treated me so kindly and really helped my recovery. Can not speak highly enough of the carers and my experience and the quality of care.

I would come back again.

Leighton Court is located in pleasant surroundings which I find very pleasing and comforting. The staff are very helpful and provide for every need. The food is excellent and to my satisfaction, and meets all my needs.

I would recommend the care you get here from the staff. They are friendly and nice. They are here to help you get better, and they help you to get back home.

I have found at all times of day and night that the staff have been wonderful, kind and extremely helpful. I managed to clear my plate every day and puddings, and have found everything to be a very high standard. I am very grateful.

The time I spent in Leighton Court I was treated with the utmost respect and dignity. From the manager and all of the carers, for their kindness, emotional support and empathy, I thank them all.

The nursing care helped her through the difficult time away from family with waves through the window. We are very grateful to all.

Furniture, whilst still functional, needs care and attention.

I thought that being new to this experience, I might find it difficult. In practice, the opposite was the case. Without exception, the staff were helpful and considerate; they have been friendly and supportive, and they work incredibly hard. I shall miss them all and remember them fondly.

I would certainly recommend this care home. The care the staff gave my father and also my mother when she visited was excellent.

Once I came to Leighton Court I felt at home. They were all very welcoming, all staff work to a high standard. I would definitely recommend it to others.

I came to Leighton Court for rehabilitation directly from hospital organised by the NHS. The care I received from the staff was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them and I thank them most sincerely. Nothing to do with the care was the problem. I was given to understand y the hospital that I would receive physiotherapy to get me walking again. All I received was instructions in transferring.
